« We stayed for the weekend and had the best time. We loved that the barn was so close to everything along Rt. 151. We ate all our meals out so we didnt really use the kitchen, but it seemed to have most things that you'd need, minus an oven. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the firepit area, and we were thrilled to get visits both nights from Mack Daddy while we were out there. The area was quiet and peaceful, great for time away. »

« This home is located in the most beautiful area of Virginia- the mountains are breathtaking. Teresa was wonderful, she was more than accommodating and very responsive to a power outage we experienced. It rained the whole weekend, but it didn’t put a damper on our trip. We went to see Crabtree Falls and stopped by the cutest little country store named Silver Creek Seaman Packing Shed. I highly recommend this home- thank you so much for your hospitality, Teresa! »

« We had a wonderful stay for our weekend in Charlottesville. The house is in a great location, close to the mall and to many restaurants. The house was very clean and provided us with everything we needed in order to enjoy a comfortable snowy and icey weekend. Check in and Check out were easy as well. If you can envision days gone by where a family lived in one room and stories were told by the fire- this is a modern day version. We loved that all of us were together versus siloed in separate rooms. We also thoroughly enjoyed the gardens and trails around the property. There are many places to sit and connect with nature. »

« The cabin itself was nice, clean, and in a great location. Unfortunately, our stay was significantly affected by a large amount of Asian beetles throughout the cabin. We lost sleep and even woke up to bugs crawling on us, which made it very difficult to relax or fully enjoy the space. I did reach out to the host during/after our stay, and while they were responsive and offered a credit, I still have not received it and it has now been two weeks.
