To begin with I literally got the instructions on how to get into the house 45 minutes from when I was getting there. I emailed the host at 10 AM and had not gotten a return email so I had to call the office to speak with someone to get the instructions when I arrived there was 10 bags of trash in the driveway that I took a picture of and sent to the host. They said they would take care of it. I was then called back by the host and asked to take to the curb, which I was disappointed by. I was taken aback by the stained furniture, as well as a large piece of glass on a dresser in one of the bedrooms upstairs was broken in large pieces. We then cooked dinner and went to put something in the oven and the the oven didn’t work at all just the stove top. The day after arriving, I was contacted by the host regarding me, taking the trash to the curb and was unable to answer the phone and was called back back to back and then texted when I was unable to answer because I was on a work call. I almost felt like an employee. We actually ended up leaving a few days early. I think one of the things that’s bothersome is the fact that the host fees are often times more than the rental itself and this isn’t about money because I am not requesting any type of refund in any way.
