« This cabin and host are fantastic. Perfect location for things around Harrisonburg and Staunton. Ferne and family are very gracious host. The cabin was stocked with anything we could never need and back ups of things if we forgot something. Beautiful view from the porch swing. Highly recommend! »

« Its the giant house on the side of the road, parking is by the tree on the hill. Arriving at night was hard to tell, with many small houses around the big house, and drive ways small. Dont let this fool you, this is to help you find it, as the place is amazing to stay. There are many rooms to stay in this house. This one is on 2nd floor, around tight nit stairs on top left. « Check-in time of 4pm is unacceptable, especially with check-out time of 10am. Paying for two nights and not receiving the full 48 hours is an issue. The national park was closed the duration of my trip, which was unfortunate. This cottage is nice for a couple's retreat if you're doing wine tasting tours. »
