Clean and cozy. My favorite part was the people! Everyone was kind and accommodating, especially Ray at the desk and Luke our breakfast server! We used the inn as our base camp to hike Mt Moosilauke to get married! Then we came back and celebrated at the pub- every meal was delicious! See you next year!
The general standard of the hotel was outdated and tired. Some of the bedding was torn, wallpaper was sticky taped to the wall and lighting options were poor. However the breakfast was good and the serving staff were very friendly.
I have stayed here several times over the years, the beds are very comfortable, the free breakfast with stay is a bargain, their food is always good and the complimentary cinnamon buns are delicious. The buildings are older structures, so expect some crooked floors, but it doesn't affect your stay. I love being right next to the Pemigewasset River, and within walking distance to shops and restaurants.
The brewery and its restaurant is the happening spot in town â there are few other options, especially with restaurants. This is a lively popular spot â the staff is upbeat and really hustles to provide good service and the food and beverages brewed on site were top notch. Itâs the âInnâ part of our visit that was really disappointing for us after seeing the nice photos and descriptions on the web. Our room was in a building of maybe 10 units across the street from the brewery-restaurant. Looked fine from the outside with its front porch and seating, but the interior was something of a shock with its completely drab outdated, cheap furnishings and carpeting and flimsy construction. Our unit had a tiny room next to the bedroom with an uncomfortable sofa and mini fridge but our luggage (3 small suitcases and a couple of bags) completely filled it, leaving no room to sit, let alone move. The bedroom was also cramped with a queen bed, dresser and 2 nightstands somehow wedged in, again, no space to move around. No closet either. The broken coffee maker and hair dryer added insult to injury. My advice would be to visit the restaurant and brewery but find someplace else to stay.
Had a wonderful time in Woodstock. The Inn was clean and comfortable. My only negative is that the walls are really thin so you hear everything and the floors are really squeaky.
The room that we stayed in had a toilet that didn't flush properly. The furniture was mismatched. The king bed was comfortable. The service was horrible upon arrival. We had to wait over 20 minutes before anybody even showed up at the front desk. The dining options around this inn are wonderful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Woodstock Inn Station & Brewery. Our suite consisted of a queen sized bed along with a little sitting area with sofa, comfortable chair and television. Breakfast for two in their restaurant was included with the price of our room, and the portions were large and delicious! We also ate at the brewery both nights, where the prices were reasonable, the food good, and the staff friendly. We highly recommend staying at the Woodstock Inn Station & Brewery
