« Shepherds huts are new and in really good condition. Very comfortable and well maintained. Continental breakfast was spot on and pub food great as well. Pub staff friendly and efficient. Overall better quality than a hotel stay for the same money. »

« Excellent stay... The hotel is very neat and clean. The dinner was excellent.. Just if the breakfast had been with with some consideration for vegetarians it would have been amazing. Also, may be I did not ask but I need more than one cup of coffee when I am on business travels. In short, I recommend this place to everyone without hesitation. »

« I stayed here for two nights recently for an event nearby at Blackpit Brewery. The hotel is clean, comfortable and quiet at night. Breakfast was good and I would stay here again. »

« Before we arrived I spoke to a lovely gentleman who arranged for a bottle of champagne to be put in the wedding couples room along with a card which was really appreciated. From the moment we arrived the staff were really lovely, the lady who checked us in promptly showed us to our room which was absolutely amazing! The little touches of the porridge pot’s & orange juice were lovely! Makes a nice change to have plenty of sockets in a room too. The shower had great water pressure and the...

« Very competitive price for a comfortable room. Accommodation( total of 4 rooms) was adjacent to and accessed via the village pub , but we did not hear a thing ! Nice outdoor space for relaxing or dining/ drinking. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay here again. Only considerations are staircase up to accommodation and breakfast is not served in the pub. »
