« Owner did not communicate with me until a message on VRBO at 5:30PM telling me that the apartment was not available. I began reaching out to her using messaging and voice mail at 4 PM to get information on getting into the building and apartment. I did receive a full refund the next day but I can not understand why the owner did not cancel the reservation as soon as they knew that the apartment wasn't available. »

« A strong smell of smoke pervades the building, and is still strong in the unit itself. The smell stuck to my clothes after I left.The dryer was not functional so it wasn't possible to do laundry in the unit. Additionally, the hot water in the shower lasted for only a few minutes. The smell, no usable laundry and not being able to take a comfortable shower made for an uncomfortable stay. « Stayed downtown while attending an event at the convention center and the surrounding area. Good: Apt was very nice- clean and well set up, bed was good, plenty of dishes and coffee provided ++ Bad: The stairs up are really steep, so take that into account if you book. The areas is a little sketchy, but no one ever bothered us. Parking (provided lot) is a little bit of a walk away, but never had a problem and no one bothered the car.
