Hotel Oakland

« Although I know that this was the south and the heat in this region has plenty of insects. But they were very minimal. The only thing that was noticeably wrong was the bottom seal on the front door, which led to the outside was hanging partially unattached to the door. Also, the shower did not work properly. More water was coming out of the main faucet instead of the shower. Otherwise the room was clean and the AC which was very important was working properly. »

« Pretty dated, not as nice as we anticipated but acceptable. Large room. Basically clean. We would probably spend a little more and stay elsewhere next time. Bed comfort was marginal. »

« Hotel is close to a lot of restaurants and stores. Room was clean. Staff were nice. Hotel is older but has been renovated. The bed was a bit more firm than I would have liked it to be. Room was very spacious. »

« Comfortable bed, relatively clean, bathroom tub/shower could use an update/remodel. Large frig with freezer was a plus. Didn’t want or need to use the pool but it was not operational. Train noise was quite loud. »

« Brand new and super nice. I hate to even mention but …it’s right next to railroad tracks and the trains might waken the light sleepers of the world. »
