When they contacted us about our arrival and I mentioned we were doing some local wine tasting on the way to the lodge, they, without skipping a beat, said they'd be sure to put some wine glasses in our room. A nice extra touch on a pleasant stay! »

« I grew up in the area but had never had an opportunity to stay here before. Joanne was supper helpful and kind, obviously loves this lodge. Our room (#1) was spacious, and there were food offerings (in addition to our welcome gift of zucchini bread) across the street, and a few places nearby. Although close to the street, we found the rustic appeal of this lodge overwhelmed the noise of the traffic, that depending on where you stay in the lodge you might not hear at all. Will stay here again...

« This property is a perfect place for a short little bike trip. Location is exceptional for some local eats and drinks within walking distance.Listing is accurate, small bathroom, quaint kitchen. Everything clean and and kitchen is stocked enough for some meal prep. Both bedrooms are very comfortable, plenty of power outlets for charging etc.Property manager offered secure bike storage without extra charges. This was fantastic service. « Our group of rowers from Arizona had a wonderful stay in this charming lake house. The location on the lakefront is gorgeous, and the house was clean and outfitted with everything we could have wanted. The fireplace was especially welcome on a cold rainy night. And the guardian eagle was such fun to watch! Our host was responsive and gracious. We will definitely try to book again! »
