The view from the balcony I feel was not portrayed with accuracy which I will show in photos. You are overlooking a roof with several commercial ac’s that really drowned out the waves otherwise it is a great ocean view. All of the things I point out were seen in other reviews but they weren’t described to the point they should have been. The walls in the condo are very thin which allows for depending on your neighbors excessive noise and we actually had to deal with our tv in the master suite either changing channels or turning on by itself once at 5am. The decor in the bathrooms does need to be updated. There is no way to open or shut the blinds for the glass doors without using a chair. Lastly you can’t use both showers at the same time as one will turn cold. Otherwise the condo itself is comfortable but some of the amenities such as the ice skating rink I feel add to the cost and if it’s something you don’t use which my wife and I don’t then this may not be the place for you although the show they put on nightly, which is the same show nightly is amazing to watch. If you are looking for a place to hang out on the beach or the bar they do have nightly entertainment but the restaurant, 118 Reef, was to say the least very disappointing.

4th of July Pre-Game

I come every year and try a different condo. This one was cute. Beautiful view and convenient property set up. Everything you need onsite or across the street. Only thing - by telling people to wash and put away all the dishes…leaving nothing in the dishwasher- people are rushing in the morning of or night before and the dishes are dirty when you pull them. So I just didn’t use the kitchen items. Granted we rinse em before but to actually have dried food on plate after plate was disappointing. My advice - let people run the dishwasher and leave. Stripping and making the beds was also a 1st. It’s usually one or the other -not both. Wood furniture and couch needs a good cleaning. And the decorative shams/pillowcases need to be washed or changed between people and were not. Visible debris on them. Took em off before making ours beds and was fine. Cute place - get better cleaners.

Dated and Dirty

We knew this property was a little dated but when we arrived it was worse than we thought. This property needs a deep cleaning as it is not only dated but dirty. We had to call and have the cleaners come back (and the management company was very responsive) but the cleaners still did not do a good job. Toothpaste in the sink from the previous guests. “Something” stuck on the outside of the toilet, Soda/juice on the kitchen floor. Not to mention the mold in the showers and stains all over the carpets. Thank goodness the linens were from another company because they were very nice and clean. Would not stay here again and suggest a MAJOR cleaning before anyone subjects themselves to this unit!

We love staying at the Carousel, just wish this unit was updated a little. Could have been a tad been cleaner but we had a ton of fun. Would be a plus if the outdoor pool was open later than 8:00pm and a bit larger with the amount of guests there are.

Great for a Beach stay

The positives-The location was perfect. The property itself was great for the kids. A bounce house was present on Thursday. The baby pool was perfect. The apartment was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed in terms of pots and pans and cutlery. Having a porch for both Sunrise and sunset was AMAZING! The linens were perfect. The negatives but to no fault of the owner. There is a huge fan/ machine as you look at the beach which throws off a lot of noise, so there is no beach/ water sounds of the waves. The compressor outside of the room is super loud. I was warned about the toilet paper but to be honest I expected a full roll in both bathrooms but got a QTR of a roll instead. Bring your own TP. Also bring garbage bags as only 2 were available.

Christmas parade weekend

My wife and I took her parents to watch the Christmas parade, the condo was perfect to sit on the front deck and watch the parade. The condo was just as it says on the listing. Would definitely stay there again.

The unit could have been cleaner. There was dust behind furniture. Outdoor table and chairs were very dirty, which I cleaned. No vacuum in the unit and broom was old and worn. Could use more utensils. Toilet had slow leak.

Clean and cozy

Lovely oceanfront condo with plenty of room for three adults. Everything was in working order and the unit was very clean. Appreciated the extra blankets in the closets. Also love the convenient proximity to grocery store, shopping and restaurants.
