This was our second stay at the Central Ave home. While the property itself remains beautiful and well-located, our recent experience was significantly impacted by poor management and inadequate communication.Upon arrival, we found the unit had not been cleaned — the bed had soiled sheets, and used towels were left in the bathroom. While we understand that errors can occur, the lack of response from management was unacceptable.I sent multiple messages through the VRBO app with no reply. I then called the service number and was asked to send photos, which I promptly did. The representative said he would contact the host and return my call. After 30 minutes with no response, I messaged again — still nothing. I called back twice: the first call I was hung up on, and the second went to voicemail. Only after calling from a different number did we reach someone, though they still had no clear update.We waited outside the property to avoid occupying an unsanitary space. We asked to be placed on hold (35 minutes) to avoid being hung up on. When a cleaner finally arrived, she stated she did not usually work at this location but had been asked to step in.We missed our dinner reservations and lost the use of the home for the better part of the evening. Despite the inconvenience, management has declined to offer accountability or any compensation. We love the property itself, but unless the management improves significantly, we will not be returning.
