STAY AWAY!! The moment I walked into the room, I could tell it hadn’t been properly cleaned. The air smelled stale and dirty, but after a long drive and an exhausting night, I tried to stay hopeful that it would be decent enough for one night - not to mention I'd also had a young kitten that was in distress! Unfortunately, that hope disappeared almost immediately when I saw German cockroaches running across the walls and floor. It was disgusting. There were also signs of other guests’ waste left behind, making it clear that no one had taken the time to properly sanitize the space.
On top of that, I felt uncomfortable when I arrived because there was a lot of drug activity taking place among residents outside. It didn’t feel like a safe place to be.
When I brought my concerns to the staff, they offered to move me to another room, but that one looked just as bad. By then it was close to midnight, and instead of helping me find a reasonable solution, the staff gave me attitude about wanting to leave.
Looking back, it’s no surprise the parking lot was practically empty. Anyone who had the option to drive away and stay somewhere else probably did!
