Gut: Sauberkeit, Ausstattung und Zustand der Unterkunft
We had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree. The warm welcome, complete with their signature cookie, was a delightful and heartfelt touch—it was absolutely delicious, too!
The hotel’s location is excellent, within walking distance of American Village, with plenty of dining and drink options nearby. We booked a sea view room and were thrilled with the breathtaking scenery. We even had the perfect balcony view of the New Year’s Eve fireworks on December 31st.
Our room was comfortable, and we slept very well thanks to the cozy bed. Breakfast offered a good standard of choices, including fresh juices. We especially enjoyed the made-to-order omelettes, prepared by the chef with options like ham, spinach, and cheese. The restaurant itself is beautifully situated, making breakfast with a sea view a truly enjoyable experience.
If we had to note one small critique, it would be the fried eggs, which we found a bit overcooked and dry on the bottom.
Overall, our experience was very positive. Should we return to American Village, we would happily choose DoubleTree again.
