Nothing compares!
Totally blows your mind! High tech features in a medieval setting. And yes, your mind constantly ticks off the sticker price of every piece of art, furniture, appliance, and stained glass feature throughout the house! But what fun metrics! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware, but honestly, in a town like Norman offering great selections of cuisines, we either ate out or ordered door dash. Admittedly, upon arrival at the castle house, we thought, "this place MUST have ghosts!" But none were found, and after a few hours, we were totally at home and embracing every quirky and beautiful feature. My 7 YO granddaughter and 15 YO Grandson absolutely loved it! We swam and watched movies until late at night. The media room is like having your own personal theater. There is a convenient well stocked kitchen upstairs by the media and game rooms; movie sound system is great! We rented this house as a "goodbye summer" weekend experience before school started, and it checked every box for enjoyment. The landscaping is beautiful as well as utilitarian. Oh, the lighting in the back yard at night is a delightful "fairy garden"! We just loved this experience and look forward to another stay in the future!
