Check in was great. Karen is so sweet and shared the history of the castle. Great place to unwind and relax. Did not use the kitchen but has everything i would have needed. Very short commute to the concert I attended at Thunder Ridge.
My sister (80, wheelchair), my dog, and I stayed in this unique lodging for a week. She LOVED sitting out back, where my dog ran around and explored the large, fenced-in area. She moved around with ease, including the bathroom, kitchen, and living area. We had lots of storage, great air-conditioning, a beautiful drive, plus amazing stonework and stories to enjoy. My dog and I took long walks on the road, by the woods, and through meadows - if you do, expect lizards and insects.
This is perfect place for a peaceful getaway but it's still close enough to Branson to enjoy the day out. The host, Karen, is so friendly. She welcomed us to the property and shared the amazing story of Lacy Michele's Castle. Beautiful surroundings! A very clean and comfortable place to stay.
Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying in the castle on our next trip. Karen was super sweet and very helpful during our stay. Very peaceful!!
Beautiful!!! Minutes away from Branson, but peacefully away from the hustle and bustle. Karen was wonderfully on top of everything! The "grand tour" was beautiful and the story behind the castle was touching. Fresh produce from the garden was a plus! Started every morning with coffee in the huge backyard edged by forest. And every evening playing pool or one of the games in the game room. Or just enjoying the deer that come out of the forest to eat. We definitely plan to make this our Branson getaway place to stay!!!
Amazing property, room was extremely clean, grounds are awesome for a walk in the woods.Karen is a joy to deal with, couldn't ask for a better host.If you're looking for a place to stay off the beaten path, book here.
Karen greeted us upon arrival and shared the history of the property Our stay was just as expected, very relaxing, not to far from the Branson fun. We travel with our two dogs and they loved the big yard!
Perfect for quiet time off, Quiet, rural, setting. traveling with wife and dog. Both were happy with place, large yard for dog to run and chase a frisbee. Great get away.
Loved the location, very quiet and peaceful. No better place to stay with your fur baby. The fenced in yard was very nice for our dog to run and enjoy the outdoors. Karen was very pleasant and friendly. It is a unique place to stay and is only about 30 minutes from Branson. Will definitely go back again.
Just far enough away from civilization to avoid the crowds unless you want to. Quietest vacation weâve ever had 6/5 stars. Will definitely stay there again.
Nice, comfortable place to stay if you are going to Branson. Just far enough away from town to be able to relax and unwind. We loved the fenced in yard for our dog.
This unique property is remotely nestled into the beautiful wooded countryside. Branson is just a short distance away. The suite is spacious and comfortable. The large fenced backyard was a huge plus for our dog. We enjoyed the attached game room, however the pool table needs repair. Karen (the host) is an absolute joy!! She added some thoughtful extra touches for our grandson's birthday. This was our 2nd stay here and we plan to return.
This was a beautiful setting, I woke up and sat in the quiet on the back porch while my dog did her thing, everything in Branson was about 30 minutes away, so we did a lot of fun things there, came home and made dinner, then either relaxed or went out for karaoke nearby. I heard birds I had never heard before and saw flowers I hadnât seen before. Karen was a sweet lady we invited to karaoke with us one of the nights. We are already planning on coming back next year!
The accommodations were all we needed for a two night stay. The level huge fenced backyard was a big plus for us since traveling with our dog. The long gravel road was a bit cumbersome at times when passing other guests but not a huge issue. The game room was convenient and it was nice to have it to ourselves. It could be an issue if other guests using it were loud, since you are right next door, although sound seemed to be fairly muffled. Overall a nice stay.
My 21 year old cat and I were able to just relax outside watching and listening to the birds and other wildlife. Plenty of room to meander and stretch your legs. Super quiet and comfortable. Very safe for a single woman.
We would recommend this place to all of our friends and family! Upon arrival Karen showed us around and gave us a little history about the property and told us if we needed anything at all to contact her. The room was clean and had everything we needed in it! It was a perfect place for our first family vacation and we will definitely be staying here in the future!
We stayed here as it was close to the wedding venue we were going to. It was a wonderful place to stay. We love the outdoors and quiet so staying here was perfect! We would definitely stay again if we come to that area.
This place was everything as described. We only stayed one night, but Karen got us all checked in, and made us feel like we were at home! The room was super clean, and it was very peaceful!
Remote and tranquil location but still close enough to enjoy Branson. The castle history is intriguing. No frills suite was clean and comfortable. The attached game room was a big plus! The large fenced in back yard was perfect for our dog. Would suggest a guest book and hangers for the ample closet space.
Karen was very sweet and accommodating. Would stay again.
