« While the house was very nice it was not functional for 6 people. One 3 person couch and 1 table that seats 4. The kitchen had 3 plates and 3 bowls and minimal silverware. No utensils except for bar-b-que. 1 towel/washcloth per person allotment per day. Therefore had to do laundry every day. VERY narrow and STEEP driveway. Neighborhood looked concerning but we had no problems with neighbors. Definitely need earplugs to sleep because of the trains. »

« The property was not entirely up to standards. The floor was wavy with a soft spot leading from the living area to the bedroom. Ceilings are low. There was a slight musty smell. I suspect a history of water damage. The couch is very small. The dock was not usable, even though lake was at summer pool. Half of the dock was on shore. « We had a great 1 night stay at this unique property! It had everything we needed and was quite cozy, yet very spacious for our little family of 4. It was a perfect stopping point for our road trip as it’s right off the highway and very close to many restaurants and stores. We enjoyed all the little extra touches such as multiple types of phone chargers on the bedroom nightstand, a stocked coffee station, and a fun little video game console. « Southern hospitality at its best! From the snack basket (which was quickly eaten) to the clean and comfortable beds, the entire experience was focused with guests’ comfort in mind. Highly recommend this peaceful place in the rolling hills of Dayton. No water when we were there, but would imagine it would be great fishing off the dock. »
