Our first trip to Orange Beach!

We really enjoyed our stay at Windward Pointe! Our condo had been upgraded recently and was very nice. Would suggest more detailed cleaning (Doritos under the bed, smeared chocolate on the back of the guest bathroom door), a new dishwasher, a new broom, and more items for the kitchen. We used the outside grill 3 nights and needed a cutting board, bowls with lids, and cookie tray that were not included. As far as the property itself, it could use some upgrades. Fitness equipment was old and rusty, hot tub didn’t work the entire week, the entrance doors to the pool and beach were so loud and difficult to use with full hands. We also asked for a couple hours extended due to a 8:19pm flight and was told it would be 125. I’ve never experienced that in the past and was very disappointed in Beachball Properties for that. Our family friends extended theirs for two hours and had no charge or issue. We went to their room to kill some time, which was greatly appreciated by their host. We loved our first trip to Orange Beach but don’t plan on staying here again unless upgrades are made in the condo and property.

Great condo on the beach!

We had a great trip, there were only a couple negatives. If you are more of a pool person this isn’t the condo for you as the water had food in it (tomato and carrots) and was super cloudy the whole trip with things floating in it. The beach was great other than all the seaweed (not something controllable and common this time of year). We had plenty of space for everyone. Upon checkout they ask you to sweep the entire place and If there is sand they charge you more. This would be fine if there was a dustpan or working vacuum. Hunter was super communicative until we were there and couldn’t get a response. Overall though it was a great trip and nice condo.

Windward Pointe 205

This was a great condo for our family! This was our first time to Orange Beach and the location was great. It was right by the stairs and trash chute which was very convenient. It’s located toward the end of the building close to the pool access gate. The balcony was large and covered and was one of our favorite spots to eat and hang out. Being on the second floor it gave a nice view of the beach and overlooked the pool. We had an issue with a clogged drain in the front bathroom and the property management quickly responded and had it taken care of. Plenty of space and plenty of sleeping arrangements options. The weather was not great when we were in town, but we were able to spend time in the covered building with a pool, hot tub, and sauna offered to guests. Condo is close to shopping/restaurants/etc. The only reason I gave 4 stars on cleanliness was because we found a bag of chips and a battery under the sofa. Other than that, it was very clean. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and would stay here again.

Fun Place for a family to stay

Great place for a relaxing week at the beach

Our get away to the beach was no disappointment staying in the condo. Due to Covid and 1 person being immunocompromised we were very happy to not have to ride the elevator to the second floor to reach the condo. We were able to use the stairs everyday. All kitchen appliances worked great and the well stocked kitchen allowed us to cook every meal. The condo was surprisingly quiet even though right above the pool. We had a great view of the beach and ocean and enjoyed breakfast on the balcony many mornings.

July 4th

We enjoyed our stay at windward pointe #205. The unit was a little outdated but provided everything we needed for our July 4th holiday. The 2nd floor location was great for easy access. It overlooked the pool and had a great view of the beach. The balcony was large and was used often by our family. The location of the property was good for getting in and out around Orange Beach. The condo had everything we needed. I do wish they would have provided more than one trash sack for a 3 night stay. We did run into an issue where there were no parking spots available for a few hours. This may have been due to the 4th holiday. We ended up going and hitting up some local shops and came back a few hours later and was able to find a spot. Other than that, we had a great stay and would recommend this property.

Baseball and beaches

Condo was fairly clean-we did find a diaper under a recliner. We enjoyed our time together with the exception of the drilling all day. I know they have to do repairs and improvements but the noise was so loud we couldn’t talk to each other. I did notify the management office and they said they were unaware of any work being done. Even with Tropical Storm Claudette blasting us all night long, we enjoyed our stay

Air Conditioner

The air conditioner wouldn't go below 75 degrees even when lowering the thermostat. It never kicked off. Checked to see if maybe the coils were frozen but they weren't. The filter was completely blocked, so I removed it, but it made no difference whatsoever.

Who ever does the cleaning needs to do a better job. Garbage was found under and around the couch. The tables outside were sticky with stuff that had been spilt on them. But the condo itself was nice size and plenty of beds for everyone

Property was beautiful and well taken care of. The unit itself as nice but could use some updates.

The unit is nicely laid out for our family of five beautifully. The furniture is comfortable as are the beds. It’s decorated tastefully and we loved the deck. The kitchen, bathrooms and appliances could use some updates. The shower is very slow to drain. The microwave takes a LONG time to heat something and you have to spin out the washer several times before the clothes are ready for the dryer. All in all, we had a great stay and would come back.

On 2nd floor, therefore no waiting for elevators

Make sure to bring extra paper towels, TP, hand soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, etc. if you plan to stay more than a day. Enjoyed being on 2nd floor and not having to wait for an elevator every time we left the condo. Great view and easy access to the beach!

Hurricane Sally

We left on Monday because of Hurricane Sally. We could not return because of the damage to Orange Beach. The city closed the city to renters and visitors. We have emailed the contact person and requested that a portion of our rental cost be reimbursed. We have not heard from them at all, even to see if we stayed or left. I have emailed them twice.
