"The property is situated in a beautiful valley and the host provided guidance for things to see and do around. The gite is specious downstairs and the kids (and dog!) absolutely loved playing with the donkeys and the turtles. We were offered to purchase a home-cooked meal which was generous and tasty. "This unusual property has been sensitively renovated to preserve a wealth of original features. The light touch gives visitors a chance to glimpse what life might have been like when it was used as a farm house for the chateau. While very close to Cordes, the setting, beside fields and in amongst trees, makes it a very peaceful location. During our stay many bats, stars and a few meteors were seen in the night sky. The pool, with its fence for keeping the deer at bay, was wonderful!"
