« We had a great visit to Anacortes and the house worked very well for us, two elder adult friends. The views of the bay from the two rooms that overlook it are beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped and the owner/host, John, was available when we had questions and easy to work with. I’d definitely recommend it unless you want to be walking distance to downtown Anacortes or want a place recently modernized. »

« The home was cozy and the view of the sound was lovely. Lopez Island was chilly when we woke in the morning, the heating system warmed the living area when we needed it. It's a great place to stay! »

« We had a great stay, and I appreciated the host's willingness to flex with us to make all work well! A very clean, nicely appointed space inside, and a usable patio and lawn out back that served our visiting grandchildren nicely.Note: the home is on a reservation, about 20 min from any businesses or restaurants. The street is less than pristine and manicured, but is very close to the water. We saw Bald Eagles as we walked the shoreline. Excellent host!! »

« We loved this house and the surrounding yard! The home was a comfortable space for 6 adults. The kitchen had everything we needed. The home is a short walk to a great grocery store, restaurant or down to the sound. We also enjoyed the outdoor living spaces such as the deck, hot tub, gorgeous yard and patio spaces. We would definitely book this house again if we visit the island. »

« I told the host we were arriving after dark, and she thoughtfully made sure to have some lights already turned on. The rooms were very clean and the neighborhood was quiet. The living and dining areas comfortably accommodated our party of 5 adults. GREAT deck off the living room with beautiful water views. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. Highly recommended! »

« Beautiful home with a gorgeous VIEW!! This was the perfect choice for two couples, offering privacy with one bedroom downstairs, and a well-equipped kitchen. Our host was so helpful, providing tips, suggestions and some local insider knowledge! I hope to stay here again next year, and the year after that…5 stars! »

« Beautiful property with excellent views and a type of farm feel where so many unique things exist including ducks, a 22 year old cat, orchard, kayaks etc. you don’t need to leave the property to have a wonderful time host John is one of coolest guys you will ever meet. »

« This is an absolutely beautiful and completely updated couples hideaway! The house is stocked with literally everything that you’d find at home and the view is simply breathtaking! Throw in a pod of Orcas swimming by, a harbor seal living and playing nearby, and a bald eagle flying directly over us, and you can imagine why we didn’t want to leave.Kristen was also fabulous to work with and very communicative! We would definitely return for another stay while on the Islands! »
