« Comfortable, clean room in a quaint old pub. Food was OK, but pricey. The most disappointing thing, given that the pub is owned by Adnams, was the quality of the beer. I tried all three of their staple brews, all of which I know and like, but they were all flat and lifeless. They were also very expensive given that they were only brewed ‘up the road’!! »

« We only stayed for 1 night but we were so impressed with how comfy, clean and spacious the lodge was and also the location of the hotel such a beautiful setting with the castle very close by really picturesque. Hotel staff were brilliant very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast which was included in the price was delicious and the eggs Benedict were perfect with a nice runny yolk. We’ll definitely stay again as Orford is such a beautiful quaint place to visit. »

« Had to cancel my stay, yet they billed my credit card for 12 nights. Admin error at best, theft at worst. I'm letting my bank deal with it. Would not recommend unless this gets resolved. »

« We decided to go to the Bull inn as it was situated well for us as we wanted to go to Sutton Hoo and then the next morning go to Framlingham Castle. « Situated near the station and at the top of the main drag, this hotel is in dire need of some tlc. They do appear to have a programme of renovations in hand, but our corner room had several cracked window panes and dated furnishings. The sink does not have a mixer tap, and the hot water is scalding, while there is almost no water pressure for the shower. « Kesgrave Hall is,a beautiful place.Unfortunately there was a few things that would of made us enjoy our stay more.The garden was lovely but it was a beautiful day and the only place we could sit to drink our delicious Apparrel Sprits and Dark and Stormy drinks were in the Smoking area it would of been nice to have somewhere more casual to sit and enjoy the ambience. « We thought we’d booked a room and were given a suite on two floors which was novel. The staff were great and the breakfast fine. Dinner was excellent although a little expensive although I may be poor of date. We didn’t have time to try the pool but it looked good. You do have to book a time slot. We would stay again but prefer a room in the main house. »
