We stayed at this home for over 10 days and were very disappointed. The property was not properly cleaned or inspected upon arrival. The main floor couch was dirty with food debris and contained pieces of glass, which was unsafe. Carpets needed deep cleaning, as our children found debris daily. We vacuumed them ourselves. Dirty towels were left in the laundry room upon arrival. The home was poorly stocked and maintained, with mismatched or broken dishes and unusable kitchen tools. Several amenities did not work, including the pool heater (despite paying extra), the upstairs mini fridge, hair dryers, and the pool safety gate, which is a serious safety concern. Repeated communication was required to address these issues. We reached out daily during our stay requiring constant follow ups. Baby items were not communicated correctly. We paid for extra items unnecessarily. Beds were poorly prepared, TVs and remotes were not fully functional, and outdoor patio cushions were worn and mismatched.Overall, the stay required far more effort than reasonable, and the home is clearly not being properly managed. We would not stay here again. Solara itself is a beautiful, well-maintained resort, and we felt more comfortable using the community amenities than staying in the house, which was the best part of our experience.
