This stay was such a HORRIBLE experience for me and my group! If I could rate negative stars I would. When we arrived at the property in the evening the front door was wide open, which is completely unsafe and had us worried. We ended up entering the home and we saw huge roaches, there were multiple of them which was disgusting! Not only that, but it was unsafe not only because of the wide-open door, but broken outlets on the wall, which pose a fire hazard. There were so many things just wrong about this place... parts of the wall were fell off onto the floor too. I have pictures of everything and even sent them to the host! To which he agreed to give me a refund, months later and nothing! Additionally, there was a huge lack of integrity here! The host literally went against VRBO policy and changed the dates that we booked on their end to make it appear as if we came in a day earlier so that we could be charged more. We stayed the first night despite feeling unsafe because we were flying in from a whole other state and everything else was booked up for that weekend and we had already spent over $3000 on the house for the weekend! We had planned to leave the next day, because It wasn't even worth $100 for the experience we had -- it ruined our entire trip!! We had to drop so much money on a whole other place because this one was just awful. The experience was more like a busted-down motel. I'm honestly so disappointed and hurt by this whole experience. I honestly would just encourage everyone to stay away. Don’t take the risk and spend your money with these people. I’ve tried to be patient for months and communicate with them time and time again and they could care less about anything but keeping our money! Don’t understand how someone can treat people like that.
