Terrible experience — house was not ready or clean when we arrived
We had a horrible experience at this Airbnb. After driving for over 9 hours from Raleigh to Orlando with two small kids (ages 2 and 6) and two elderly family members, we arrived at the house completely exhausted — only to find that it hadn’t been cleaned at all.The cleaning crew arrived after we did and told us they were just starting. We were left waiting outside for over 2 hours, with two kids and two elders, sitting by the pool in the Florida heat — simply unacceptable.What made it worse: I had sent a message earlier asking for early check-in and was told no. Fair enough — but nobody mentioned that the cleaning crew was running late or that the house wouldn’t even be ready by the normal check-in time. No communication at all.When we finally entered the house, it was still dirty. The floor had hair all over it, and the master bathroom looked untouched — the toilet had clearly not been cleaned (it was disgusting). It was obvious that the cleaning job was rushed or simply not done properly.No one ever followed up. No apology. No message. Nothing.I do not recommend this property. The lack of cleanliness and zero communication made our arrival extremely stressful. This is not how guests should be treated.
