Well, it was disappointing. We thought this was going to be great based on the pictures and the private pool. First thing, the place wasn’t very clean. The surfaces looked dust free but when I wiped them there was dirt. The floors, specifically the carpet, were dirty. Our socks would be black at the bottom.
The master bedroom bed was awful. There was no no spring and it is basically on the floor. Which riled all of our allergies to be that close to the carpet. The master comforter was also dirty and when I tried to remove it the bed fell bc it was holding the bed into the frame near the floor. So janky.
We also paid to have to pool heated. But when we got there it was not. It was ice cold. I called and they said maintenance would head over as they were a couple doors down. They never showed up. I had to call the next day again and it took them until late in the afternoon to actually turn the heat on and the pool wasn’t useable until our third day. The maintenance man told my father it would only heat a degree an hour. We were only there for 5. They only refunded me for one day of heat.
The baseboards and walls are scuffed up and there were barely any towels and no extra pillows or blankets. It’s not exactly the most welcoming place. We had to buy toilet paper as there wasn’t enough. We had to buy paper towels, Wipes, hand soap and laundry detergent. Good thing Walmart is close.
This was a disappointing stay. But the property’s resort pool area is lovely.
