Our home is in Veranda Palms, a gated, family-friendly resort community just off Highway 192 in Kissimmee. You get the quiet of a private resort with the theme parks a short drive away, so it’s easy to spend the day at Disney and come back to your own pool at night. Inside the gates, guests can enjoy the resort pool, a kids’ splash playground with water slides, and a fitness center. The community also borders Shingle Creek Regional Park, with nature trails and kayaking for a slower day. Old Town Kissimmee is about 3 miles away for rides, shops, and weekend car shows. Highway 192 is lined with grocery stores, casual restaurants, and family dining. Whether you’re here for the parks or a relaxing getaway, Veranda Palms is a comfortable home base for your Florida vacation.
