We had a wonderful time! The rooms were clean, the pool was cold,but that was the cooler weather at the time we were there. Spacious and private. We had a couple of issues but as soon as i contacted them, they were there early the next morning to correct the issues. The only drawback I noted was the very narrow driveway. Great place though.

Sept 20-27 my family stayed to celebrate my Mom’s 60th. We had 5 adults and 5 kids. 2 adults and 2 more kids were suppose to attend but couldn’t last minute. We definitely would have had the room for them if they came. The house was perfect for us. Our only complaint the whole stay was no TV in the outside kitchen/pool area. We really looked forward to watching football games while being in the pool, but that unfortunately didn’t happen since there was no tv. I did see a review from another customer prior to our stay that there wasn’t a TV but I just figured it would have been replaced by the time of our stay. Anyways, besides that our stay was great. The beds were comfy which was a big plus. The pool was huge and deep (probably 8feet ) in the deep end, the kids loved jumping in. The Publix and Dollar Tree across there street was a great convenience. Oh can’t forget we saw dolphins swim past the house every morning. We would definitely stay again.

The house is located on the beach and the walk is not bad at all. The pictures of the layout are very misleading. Two of the rooms are not connected to the house. One you access by the pool and the other through the garage.The stairs inside the house are unsafe. There is no rail or light to see where you are stepping. The ad says there is a TV outside but it was broken before our stay and the owners did not replace it. The facia boards are falling out by the pool. The courtyard is not inviting and is mostly overgrown. The sofa is big but it is worn out and not very comfortable. The house sleeps 16 but only seats 10 to eat. The porch is extremely hot and not shaded. The kitchen stovetop is cracked and broken, which meant we couldn’t use several eyes. The floor is coming up in several places and we had people trip multiple times during our stay. The house does have two refrigerators which are nice for large families.

Plenty of room

We stayed 4 nights and had a great time. We enjoyed the pool and being able to walk directly out onto the beach. Looks like it has been remodeled recently. It has a nice living room area that is on the second floor leading out to a deck that overlooks the ocean.

Great vacation, but...

Great location. We loved the pool and beach access. We had some plumbing issues. The management got some one out to clear the septic tank, but that didn't really solve the issue. We were not able to use two of the toilets. Watch out for the stairs. We had two people in our group slip on the stairs. When we left we noticed the upstairs bathroom leaked in the heavy rain. House needs some love.

Could not unlock the front door, not enough lighting on outside steps, no curtains on two bedrooms, no lock on 2 bedrooms to the outside, several light bulbs out , dryer did not dry well, toilets on lower level kept backing up. Need to mark light switches.someone just walked up to our back gate. The upper level was very large, access to the beach was great, only 3 burners work on grill, drain cover in master was not secured, had to open garage doors by hand opener did not work, one closet door was off front bed had to sleep at foot end because head was lower.just needs gine over well by maintenence.

Will Not Stay Again

This property needs some love. First of all, Ice makers in every refrigerator were not hooked up. When I asked the property manager she said well we don’t advertise that. Pool was soo cold we couldn’t enjoy it. There is a heater next to it that’s broken. Yet again when I called about this, I get well we didn’t advertise it as being heated. “Heater and pump house is pictured online”. Keurig coffee pot broke, we bought pods for it, they sent us another coffee pot 4 days into the trip, NOT a keurig. So still couldn’t use it. One garage door is broken. Yet again when called they just told us how to open it manually. They had definitely had this call before and didnt fix the issue. This house definitely needs a massive scrub down, Shower curtains were even moldy. They gave us one trash bag for the whole house. All together it seems it’s been neglected for to long. And when I asked for some money back I got no returned answers through property managment.

This is a spacious place for a large group, and it comes with a pool and beach access. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were at this house to hold meetings a work. It was a perfect space to do that - lots of room. Otherwise it is poorly furnished - no where to sit in any of the bedrooms as there are no chairs in any of those rooms. There were a few problems - no coffee maker, no hot water in one of the rooms, and the manager quickly responded - that was the best part of this property. Very over priced for the condition of the house and the furnishings. Lovely view and right on the beach was the best part.

Margarita Manor

We had a great stay at Margarita Manor. The home was as presented, clean and comfortable. We loved hanging out on the deck, bar by pool and beach. The only recommendation for the host is to include information on the driveway restrictions in the listing and create a packet to leave in the kitchen with expectations and instructions to include wifi password and how to turn on the electrical in the bar area and deck lighting.

Fabulous Getaway!

This property was impeccable! Communication with the owner before, during and after was seamless. The house is gorgeous with a beautiful open upstairs floor plan. The pool and side bar probably received more use than the house itself! The added benefit of stepping right off your personal stairway to the beach was fabulous. Conveniently across from Publix, not much more to desire! Will stay again if in the area!

Fabulous Family Fun

Margarita Manor had plenty of space to accommodate our 12 family members for a fun beachside vacation! In addition to the in-ground pool, the direct access to the beach and the close proximity to the Publix shopping center provided convenience for both the adults and children in our group. The main upstairs floor contained a spacious kitchen, dining area, and living space - all appeared newly upgraded and nicely decorated. The sun-deck off of the living room was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the ocean view. All bedrooms were on the ground level with three of them toward the front (west-side) of the house. The primary bedroom was spacious with a roomy en-suite bathroom and soft king-sized mattress. The kids room had two adequately sized sets of bunk beds (that also included trundle beds that we did not use) so our little ones slept comfortably. One guest room was rather small with a queen bed and a nearby hallway bathroom. The remaining two bedrooms (on the east side of the house with poolside entrances) also had queen beds, but each had an en-suite bathroom. Although this did not prove to be a problem for our group, both of these bedrooms required guests to walk outside to get to the main living area. Note: the bedroom that was in the separate pool house had a smaller window air-conditioner that was a bit noisy and was difficult to set an accurate temp. Our family truly enjoyed our time in Ormond Beach at this unique 5 bedroom beachfront home!

Wonderful time!

Definitely loved how close the beach is! Cleaning crew was still there at check in but they were very friendly as we came running in. Quiet even though neighbors are close. More than enough space for everyone. Just wish there was a hand rail on the bottom set of steps for one of my guests that was a little older. Would rent again
