« Great location. We didn’t rent a car so we walked or took the bus everywhere. Everything within Ortigia was far more walkable than we had anticipated from looking at the map. The place itself was super clean and whenever we needed the trash taken out or anything else, we simply sent a WhatsApp message. Super easy and quick communication! Nicely furnished. Because it’s bang in the middle of restaurants and all there is some noise, but we didn’t mind. »

« The only thing we would recommend for guests who are staying for a month is to offer new towels a few times per week. We loved the place for sure, but if we do it again, we may want to be on a lower floor since we are retired and my husband has knee problems. Loved the view off the balcony! »

« Very convenient in the centre for sightseeing and restaurants, management organized our free parking with the police. Very nice to be able to do laundry in the apartment and continue the trip with fresh clothes. »

« This apartment is in an excellent location and it was clean. There are a few things you should be aware of. Shower stall very small - I'm not a big person but super tight turned off water if you moved around a bit. Larger men we traveled with had difficulty. Also could use a few extra towels. The upstairs is like an attic so for taller people this could be a problem. Overall it was good and in a great location. Also need to have cash for a deposit which I might of missed reading about but that...

« A spacious apartment, but a bit tired. Not very modern. It felt a bit dark. The location was good , but a good fifteen minute walk from the parking. Arrival was fine, the managing agent communicated clearly. The worst aspect was the fishy stink from the rubbish bins situated on the communal landing just above the apartment. It did not enter the apartment, but it was not pleasant on arrival outside each time. All in all it was fine but not wonderful. »

« This was a large apartment, so after a couple of months of travel it gave us some room to stretch out, relax and clean our gear. It sort of felt grand. Perfectly located with a great view and the large windows providing beautiful ventilation. Easy to get to and access. Although the people you talk to and the messages you write don’t necessarily seem to link, we had no problems with arrival or departure. »

« This beautiful little place, perfect for a couple, is located in a quiet street in the Siracusian centre on Isola d’Ortigia. All the sights are at walking distance. The Ortigia Holiday staff provides great service and have good English language skills. »

« Perfect for ortygia getaway—-great location, excellent communication. Clean, perfect for two people. Be sure to let people know the loft bedroom means navigating steep steps and lots of them—-we are seniors in good shape but others would need to know this. And, picky, picky, we did not see a means for making coffee in the am—-That would make a wonderful place wonderfuller. Grazie!! We loved Ortygia!!!! »

« L'appartement d'Elena est vraiment celui où il faut aller à Syracuse. Tout d'abord, la rue ressemble à une allée de jardin, tellement agréable. Puis cet appartement au 2e étage, si clair, donnant sur la rue, balcon dans le séjour et dans la chambre (pièces très vastes) et le top, la terrasse ombragée de plantes et de parasols. Y avons pris tous nos repas dans une tranquillité absolue. Délice ! Supermarché à quelques pas. Elena à même pensé à un caddy à roulettes. La rue donne direct sur la rue...

« The flat is in good shape, the bed comfortable and it is nice to have a laundry machine in-suite. We had issues communicating with the property manager as we arrived in Syracuse after 6PM on a Friday. Their office closes at 6PM for the weekend. We did finally arrange for a person to check us in, who was very nice and well-informed, but we discovered upon arrival that we had no hot water and it took until Sunday for someone to respond. »

« Excellent petit studio fonctionnel, moderne, propre et bien décoré en plein coeur d'Ortigia. Le seul regret est du côté du lit. Non seulement il s'agit de deux lits simples collés ce qui crée un creux en plein milieu très désagréable mais aussi, le matelas était très mou, faisant rapidement mal au dos. Hormis cela, c'est parfait! »

Pour l’arrivée avec bagages, il faut toutefois le considérer et le bruit le soir également. L’appartement est très confortable et bien équipé pour un court séjour. « jolie chambre très bien située dans syracuse avec cour sympathique. le sol noir est très vite sali. le menage tous les 4 jours est facturé 20€ même si on ne reste que 2 nuits ! les femmes de ménage qui font l'entretien des chambres font beaucoup de bruit dans la cour l'après-midi et gene la tranquillité de la sieste. »
