« We really enjoyed our stay here during the end of Hanami. Everything was clean, and plenty of room for our party. The walls are pretty thin like most Japanese residential places in Japan. So, if you stay here just be courteous of the noise level, because you can hear your neighbors very easily. »

« Tradition ancient Kyoto-style house in great location. Parking space right outside the house. Spacious living room and bedroom. Well equipped kitchen with tableware, cookware and seasonings. Narrow and slanting staircase to 2F so must be very careful when walking up and down. »

« We stayed in Tokyo and Osaka prior to our stay here in Kyoto at Maeniiya Machiya Inn. Maeniiya Machiya Inn is a definite great place to stay and close to everything. Akemi (property owner) is a wealth of knowledge and gave a lot of tips and recommendations. Be sure to visit Sukemasa for dinner if you like Gyoza. It is very close and yummy for 1000yen! « Beautiful house in excellent condition in a nice quiet area. Everything you need is provided in the house. The phone in the house did not seem to work to call the reception though. The nearest Tofukuji Station is only a few minutes’ walk away with two convenience stores on the way. Love to return in the future; cannot recommend more!! »

« The entire stay was great! The host (Mr Tomoya) was very helpful at check in and gave us a detailed overview of the area and how to get around. I would definitely reccomend Jizo House to a friend and stay here when I visit kyoto next. »

"Déjeuner excellent, belle salle à manger, Chambre très propre et composantes de qualité. Calme sur les étages, machine à eau/glace sur l’étage. Personnel souriant/acceuillant et disposé à nous aider. L’hôtel est situé à tout à côté de l’escalier vers le métro !! Boulangerie, FamilyMart et restaurant Onigri à moins de 25m!! 15 min de marche de la gare Shinkansen d’arrivée. Est-ce que reviendrais au même hôtel ultérieurement ? oui, pourquoi pas ? 😄"
