They have just bought building not long ago so I feel they have improved this place a lot already. People are friendly.

The lobby was not available because they were replacing the flooring tile so that meant the front desk the coffee machines the breakfast area the fireplace the sitting room were all unavailable with no prior notice.

No service really. We stayed two days. Trash wasn’t emptied, had to ask for toilet paper, just not a good experience overall

I had booked this place about 3 weeks prior arriving for a night of swimming with my kids. I had even called the Monday prior to to make sure the pool and hot tub were open and was told yes. When we arrived I was told they have the hot tub but pool has been closed for two years. Their listing and website still show a pool available. Cancelled right then and went to a different hotel.

I like the setting and lounge in the entrance. Dislike that there was no elevator, just stairs to second floor. The pool wasn't open, closed for repair work, there was only one bar of soap in the bathroom. The breakfast bar was pretty skimpy, no hot foods.

The WiFi was terrible we have verizon, the manager came to our room and helped us!! Darrell had to do work on his computer, he helped him change some connections. Greta place to stay!! We were going to the fishing tournament right in the bay great location.

You cancelled my 3 night paid reservation! My husband has cancer so I came a day late to no room. AmericInn was very accomodating and gave me a room (that had to be paid for). It was upstairs and I have bad knees so had to swap with my brother and share a first floor room.

The website says pool and hot tub. Neither was working. Rented a room with a hot tub. It wasnt working neither. Staff wasnt too concerned about this. Maintenance man came in the next day and says he fixed this recently but it wasnt working. He told the person at the front desk then we was moved to a different room and the young man at the front desk did help us move our stuff. This hotel looks good in the ad but in person it is run down and garbage was overflowing.

No pool, no breakfast, no housekeeping. Couldn't even give us an extra pillow. I've stayed here one time, I don't think I ever need to again. Barely ok at best.

It was quite and clean, but sink didn’t drain, toilet seat broken, no breakfast, pool broken, over priced for what you get!

Overall the Hotel was nice. AC cooled the room but I’m used to a cold room like 65-67 degrees and this was warmer. One Ice machine was out of order and the other has water and rust all over the floor. The biggest disappointment was their pool was closed for maintenance.

Nothing was unique. Pool and side room closed for remodeling, our room needed more thorough cleaning of cob webs behind doors. Still using bag breakfast with a small pastry, fruit cup, juice box and power bar. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Not a bad place, but certainly nothing special.

This property is near the mouth of the AuSable River. I could see some of it from my window. The room was clean and protocol was being followed. The young man who checked me in (Dylan) was helpful with suggestions for places to eat. The carpet in the halls seemed a bit worn but there were also forest firefighters staying here and I am sure it was just in need of a cleaning. Something hard to keep up with in this situation.

Very nice people! Clean! Grill, fire pit, and fish access! Very cool book in breakfast area with all the information for foods, bars, adventures, and church! Super cool! We went for fishing and was not disappointed!

Birthday for granddaughter
Very nice stay as always! Pool and hot tub were down for maintenance but staff upgraded our room to a suite with no additional charge. It was wonderful to have extra space, a fireplace and sliding glass door to look out to our view of the Ausable River. Definitely going to book this same room next time!

It was clean and the staff was friendly. The only downfall was that online it states they would have free breakfast and with covid it would still be offered just limited. They did not have breakfast and since we stayed Christmas Eve into Christmas Day- nothing was open for us to eat. We ended up having to go to the gas station. Otherwise it was a decent place to stay for the price.
