« The view from our chalet apartment balcony was huuuge, stunning, beautiful, and an ever- changing panorama of Lake Thun and the Alps. We loved Oberhofen town and castle (great restaurant). Grocery store, bakery (with coffee), tea room, sundries store, funky bar 'Pier 17' at the lake steamer dock, bank/atm, all within a ten minute walk...faster downhill, slower uphill. « We really enjoyed our stay in the farmhouse and went to sleep every night with the cow bells ringing like soothing music. The apartment is clean and we found the beds to be comfortable - there were additional, thinner blankets in the clothes chest that we should have looked for earlier in our stay, it may have improved even further! We understand very little German but with Google translate we were able to communicate quite well with the host, fantastic people! We purchased milk, eggs and cheese...

« This place is clean, convenient to the highway and attractions in nearby Bern, and has excellent sunset views (we were there in May). Parking is easy and there is a bus stop directly across the street. We even found an outstanding Italian restaurant for dinner and a nice bakery for breakfast within walking distance.Conversely, the beds are just ok. A little soft and low for our tastes and the AC could not be adjusted. We found it warm at night. »
