« Staff très aimable, établissement charmant »

« Très bel établissement dans la campagne du Yorkshire où on peu profiter du grand calme. Les lieux ont fait l'objet d'une rénovation mêlant agréablement la modernité avec une vieille bâtisse. Le staff est amical et aux soins anticipant même les demandes. Les chambres sont impeccables et permettent de se sentir dans un cocon moderne. L'hôtel possède sont propre centre de remise en forme avec salle de sport, piscine, jacuzzi et sauna. Même s'il peut paraître vieillot, une nouvelle construction...

« Had two nights in a family room whilst visiting York, which can be easily accessed by car in minutes. The ground-floor room was clean, spacious and very well appointed, with a large TV and a small but perfectly formed bathroom boasting an array of hand-wash, shower gel, shampoo and separate conditioner! Breakfast was excellent, though options for evening dining were limited. That said, we enjoyed a couple of lovely meals at the nearby Cross Keys pub, where it was possible to reserve a table....

« Wonderful one-night stay at Ashbourne House. The room was very spacious, well decorated and absolutely spotless. Great attention to detail - there was even a supply of cotton buds and a small sewing kit! Really conveniently located to get to York centre, and the bed was the comfiest I've ever slept in! Will 100% stay here again when visiting York. »

« Everything was outstanding. We loved our stay. The hotel and restaurant were decorated beautifully for Christmas, which made it even more special. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced, breakfast was also plentiful and of good quality. All the staff from reception, bar and restaurant were friendly, professional and courteous. We would definitely stay here again. »

« Cashed in some one key points for night away . Took the scenic route from Gateshead and visited Richmond , Aysgarth Falls , Grassington and Thirsk on the way . Had a couple of beers in the beer garden , freshened up then a gorgeous meal in the orangery. So glad we had booked as they were turning people away ! The staff were excellent- friendly , courteous and attentive. Lovely relaxing night away , helped by the English heatwave . »

« I had such a wonderful experience. The room was very nicely decorated and top of the line. Everything was beautiful, clean, lots of amenities. I had a small accident and broke my foot, the hosts were so helpful and really went out of their way. Everything I needed was there and it was easily accessible to the city center. I cant wait to return. Top boutique hotel I've ever stayed at. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I'm so glad I booked here! »

« We had a really lovely stay here! The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and you truly can’t beat the location — right in the heart of York. A couple of small things to note: parking can be tricky (we used Clifford Tower car park, which is a bit pricey), the WiFi didn’t quite reach every corner of the apartment, and the balcony view isn’t much to look at.
