Not a fan of the hotel or the restaurant
We chose this hotel because of the wonderful reviews and that it has a restaurant. At check-in we’re told they had to recharge our card because even though we prepaid on the app, they said we had to re-validate the card in their system. I’ve never had that happen before when using Hotels.com app. The room itself was very nice. The bathroom has low privacy. There’s no blinds or curtains and only half of the window is covered by glass shading. The top portion of the windows are all clear and uncovered.
Unfortunately, our room was directly above the kitchen, there was banging of cupboards, pots and pan noises and talking. It sounded like the kitchen was in the room with us. We waited an hour and a half for our food. I was so tired and went up to the room. My Husband continued to wait in the restaurant and got the order to go. My husband and our kid’s burgers were raw. Unfortunately my kid being a kid ate over half of it before we knew there was a problem. My husband took a few bites and realize there was a problem. He went back downstairs with the food and they said that everything should be fine and nobody should get sick because it was real cows meat. What does that mean? We received a call and an invoice 24 hours later stating the waitress charged our card wrong for dinner and we needed to repay.
I would not recommend this hotel or restaurant. Not a great experience.
