« So lovely and clean. More than we had imagined!!! »

« My 2 grandsons & I had a wonderful visit at the Riverkeeper Inn. The Riverfront is beautiful & lots of nature to enjoy. They also liked riding around on the golf cart in the neighborhood checking out the deer & birds. Very peaceful. It was a nice getaway for them being from Texas. »

« We had a wonderful family ski trip at Wisp and stayed here (just a few minutes away) for a long weekend. Very clean, cozy, and welcoming home with fantastic communication from the host. We would absolutely recommend and would be happy to stay here again! »

« Property was very nice. The weekend was rainy which cause the yard to turn into a bit of a swamp. The inside was beautiful and fit 5 of us very well. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. Hot tub was clean and the outdoor shower made washing hot tub chemicals and camp fire smoke out of hair very convenient. »

« We stayed at this home for a week and enjoyed getting away to this woodsy area. We saw deer everyday on our walks. It’s a little out of the way (just what we needed, lol) but not so far that things were difficult to access by any means. House was recently renovated and we found it to be clean. Communication with the owners was easy. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if our travel plans brought us back to the area. »

« Had a wonderful anniversary get away with my wife. Super quiet and relaxing location. The deck is awesome. Memorable fine dining found nearby at Patowmack farm. The cottage is connected to the main house, but we found that it did not bother us at all. »

« It was a beautiful yard and the house was so cozy. The kichen had everything we needed. The hosts were super nice and responded quickly to any questions we had. We would absolutely stay here again. »

« Great place but was not aware the of how close the other houses were. The cabin behind us which was called "exceeds expectations" was very loud playing music until 3 am. We were not happy about that. Other than that, it was a nice place. Enjoyed the hot tub! »

« We truly loved this little cottage and was perfect for our stay while visiting family and friends. We took several walks in the area, enjoyed the quiet and the adorable space. The beds were very comfortable. The cottage was very clean and nicely remodeled. We will hopefully be able to rent here again at our next visit! Owner was very responsive and helpful as well. Only was missing a blowdryer, but I improvised! »

« House was clean, there was enough dishes to cook with. there is only one bathroom which worked out fine because there are two half baths. Joe was also pleasant to work with, it was my second time booking with vrbo, he made me comfortable with the check in prosses. planning a trip need a place that is centrically located and easy to find I would suggest you give this house a try. »

« Everything went super smoothly. Nancy is an excellent communicator. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the main strip and that walk is through a beautiful neighborhood with friendly folks all around. 10/10 would stay again. »

« The property was charming, clean, and easy to access. It made my stay at Fort Fredrick State Park for the Market Fair very cost-effective, with clean, private accommodations to come home to at night. Well worth the price! »

« Pros: Good location, quiet neighborhood with lots of deer, nice supply of start-up toiletries. Partial A/C was enough to keep house cool during heatwave. Comfortable master bed with its own A/C vent. Cons: Need a 4-wheel drive to navigate some steeple crush & run roads. House has small water tank, and owner wants renters to wait 30 minutes between shower use. Kitchen is very bare bones - bring your own cleaning supplies, foil, very few pans. Some safety concerns if need to take your pet outside...
