„Like other people have already mentioned, there is no Hotel staff on site so you're pretty much left to your own devices. When checking in I was greeted by the restaurant’s chef who had to phone someone to come and bring the keys to my room which included a ten minute wait.
 Since the rooms are located above the restaurant, it is quite loud in the evening and late at night – especially when your room faces the street and people leave the restaurant talking loudly. I had a problem during my stay ...

„The room seemed clean, dirty towel that was left was removed after this was pointed out. Room was well equipped with coffee maker and kettle, nice modern bathroom. To our surprise the room was not cleaned during the day and towels not refreshed. Also coffee, tea, water etc was not replenished. Breakfast in the local pub across the square was not good. No fresh fruit for instance and the used ingredients were not the best.“

„No air conditioning but there was a dyson fan and a heater. Room had a coffee machine, mini fridge, hairdryer and a handheld steamer. We stayed in a room overlooking the harbour and it was very quiet. You couldn't hear any noise from the pub next door. Room was modern and very clean. The bed was huge (king) and very comfortable. There were places nearby to get breakfast and is very close to a Sainsbury and M&S food (Apr26).“

„Great views from the bedroom towards the sea (apart from the infamous Shanklin lift shaft). Sun rise while lying in bed was fantastic to see. Staff were great and the food was good. Although some areas were a little worn and could do with a bit of TLC, it was very clean and tidy.“

„Issues about the room Open the door - strong musky smell even with the window open. On arrival in the room I had to remove 5 spiders (each in different corners of the room) aswell as several cobwebs. Carpet had a massive stain upon entering the room which probably added to the musky smell. Room uninviting and very small for double. Décor was 1970's styled, looking incredibly dated. Bath had large scattered spots of paint so you certainly wouldn't bath in it. Can’t shave as there’s no plug in ...

„Wir waren drei Tage in diesem Traditionshotel mit seinem besonderen Charme und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Team war sehr freundlich. Unser Zimmer befand sich in einem der Nebengebäude. Das Zimmer war recht geräumig, ebenso das Badezimmer mit einer großen Wanne und einem weiteren TV. Obwohl das Zimmer die Fenster zum Parkplatz hatte, war es ausgesprochen ruhig. „The staff were really lovely, easy check in and easy check out. But, the bathroom had toothpaste marks all over the sink, glass shelf and mirror. The temperature of the shower was either really hot or really cold, you couldn’t change it manually. The hair dryer in the room didn’t work at all. The big bathroom light didn’t work, only a small one above the mirror when you used the shower you could hardly see what you were doing.“

„Sehr schöne, saubere kleine Wohnung in einer gemütlichen nicht erdrückenden Anlage. Leider keine Spülmaschine und wenig Geschirr. Ansonsten sehr gute Ausstattung. Vermieter sehr nett, Kommunikation super! Nettes Cafe mit wlan in der Anlage. 3 Minuten zum Meer, Seaview ist ein toller Ort. Radwege wenige, jedoch ist Radfahren gut möglich.“
