« Our 3rd stay at the Clearing and we enjoyed it as much as our first visit..No doubt, a gem in the woods that has the solitude and peacefulness that keeps us coming back..A wonderful property, with owners to march. We will be back again for sure »

« Loved the caboose! Had so much fun with my family! Plenty of space. Loved that it had full kitchen, AC and bathroom all inside. Wished we stayed longer. Loved the sitting spaces and the history of the caboose from the past. The location was tucked away and quiet and loved the views of the railroad. Would have been more ideal in another section of Palmer but makes sense it was near the Steaming Tender. »

« Beautiful historical house in a rural setting. We were attending performances at Jacob’s Pillow. This house is approximately 20 minutes away, so very convenient. »

« Nice to have a Vrbo versus hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Heater wasn’t working and owner had someone there within a hour to fix it. We left our laptop and owner notified us immediately. Placed worked out great for our business trip. »

« The hosts are lovely. The lake is clean and inviting--perfect for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, etc.. Beautiful lawn with shade and sun to relax and enjoy the view. Gorgeous flowers everywhere. Elevation helps beat the heat of the valley, keeping temps comfortable with nice breeze off lake. Fun little towns to visit. Next door to state forest with trails.
