Harlyn Bay, 1 mile away, is an epic choice for surfers, while the South West Coast Path leads past Trevone’s famous Round Hole and on towards some lovely cliff-top views. The foodie paradise of Padstow is only 2 miles away and is peppered with Michelin-starred restaurants, fish and chip bars, and places to stop for seafood lunches by the water. Pause a while to enjoy some local ale and a slow afternoon of harbour strolls. From there, you could also hop on the ferry to Rock or hire bikes for the Camel Trail to Wadebridge. Trevose Golf and Country Club is also 3 miles away.

Entering this beautifully refurbished property, you are welcomed into the spacious open-plan kitchen/diner and snug, where sleek interiors and soft seaside tones create a coastal feel. The kitchen is fully equipped and ideal for the head chef to prepare family meals, with an electric oven, gas hob, and American-style fridge/freezer. The generous dining area provides plenty of space for everyone to gather. After dinner, settle into the comfortable snug in front of the wood burner, or open the patio doors and step straight out into the enclosed rear garden. Heading upstairs, you are met with the impressive first-floor sitting room, where broad windows frame distant sea and countryside views. With comfortable seating for more than ten guests, a 65-inch Smart TV and a wood burner, this is a wonderful space for everyone to unwind. There’s even a drinks bar with a small fridge, making evenings especially easy, which can be enjoyed on the two balconies. Back on the ground floor, you will discover five stylish bedrooms decorated in calming tones for a great night’s sleep. These include a double with an en-suite shower room, a twin and two zip-and-link bedrooms that can be arranged as a king or twins upon request. One has an en-suite bathroom, while the other features a freestanding bath, a wood burner, and an en-suite WC. There is also a further king bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Please note that internal access to the final zip-and-link bedroom is through the adjoining double, although it also has a separate entrance from the driveway. All the bedrooms are furnished with Smart TVs for those long mornings under the covers. Completing the ground floor is a family bathroom and an additional WC.

Outside, the fully enclosed rear garden has been designed with entertaining and relaxation in mind. Spend sunny afternoons cooking on the BBQ while family and friends gather beneath the all-weather canopy, warm up beside the chimenea as evening falls, or enjoy a long soak in the private hot tub. A separate tiled courtyard provides even more space for fun, with a games area, a full-size table tennis table, and an outdoor shower.
