« We arrived in Hawaii only to find our booking had gone out of business and forgot to remove their VRBO ad. But we found Paradise Palms available at the last minute. Sharon and Steve worked with us and VRBO to help us straighten everything out. And we spent 3 days in the area and it was beautiful. Every day was a new adventure. »

« A really cool place. Sharon and Stephen were wonderful hosts (this is a small ‘condo’ downstairs on their property). Very comfortable, parking is doorside w a private entrance. Beautifully landscaped yard. Kitchen is well stocked w/ utensils and basic seasonings/condiments for cooking. Walk-in shower and adjacent outdoor shower. Seaview is definitely off the beaten path—20 min drive to town down a road w/ incredible scenery. My favorite was listening to the sounds of the jungle at night...

« Fabulous place to stay! Everything was clean and the processes were easy to follow. When I needed help it was immediately available. Traveling alone I didn’t need a two bedroom but it was a delicious indulgence in a great location and very comfortable, at a very fair price. I’m glad I found it and I would stay again. « Great little house next to the owner's house. Not a lot of space but cozy. Owner is easy to reach and answers questions quickly. Warm welcome. However the location is not that convenient as it is a good 25 min from Hilo, and the roosters and dogs of the neighborhood are very noisy at night... »

« If you like quiet, remote and clean with friendly hosts- this is your place. The bed was super comfortable. The stars can be vividly seen at night and the coqi frogs lull you to sleep. The outdoor shower is awesome. Glen and Lisa were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. You can’t beat the accommodations for the price. »

« Pros: I liked the location. There was easy access to Puna, Volcano NP, and Hilo. The owner gave me a 5 minute spiel on the property. Everything was in working order. Cons: I stayed at 4 different VRBO properties during my stay on the Big Island. All property owners except this one provided directions, check in instructions and check out instructions. You won't get that. And the directions are not intuitive at all. So I will do the property owner's job for him and hopefully save you frustration...

« Just like camping. Carpet had not been vacuumed. There was one light and one outlet that could only be used for charging devices. No hair dryer or curling iron use. Two towels, no hand towels or wash cloths. Bathroom sink was only plumbed for cold water. Shower liner was peeling and there was no bathroom light. Common area was not clean. »

« This property is in a great location. Don't let the condition of the complex bother you. The unit is nice, the beds are comfortable, and the air conditioning is a plus. The informational booklet was very interesting and we actually followed and appreciated some of the suggestions. We would definitely recommend this unit to friends. »
