Not a single complaint
We needed a last minute rental while we had our floors replaced. Super cute house, very dog friendly, and owner kept in touch when a huge storm blew through.

This cottage was beautiful and in a very quiet setting. It was very clean and had everything we could ask for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.With difficulties finding places to accept our larger dogs, this cottage welcomed them, which is very important to us.

Peaceful and Serene
This is a perfect getaway place to leave everything behind for a few days. Our hosts provided us with everything and more to make our stay pleasant and stress free. I would have liked to have a tv in the bedrooms only because I usually sleep with it on and turns off with timer set. We definitely plan on coming back again. Easy access to everything. Great restaurants. Went to Roadhouse, Jalisco’s Mex Restaurant, Southside Market BBQ, all had excellent food. 12 miles away from Bastrop Historic District, enjoyed it. Thank you to our hosts James and Wendy..

Beautiful secluded location
We loved it tho not a real good place for handicaped. My daughter is in a wheelchair parttime. The ramp was good but no other handicaped accesible features (but was not advertised as such anyway) my sister and niece enjoyed walking the lovely trails and the cottage was exceptionally well equiped. We really enjoyed our stay.

This property is lovely and just as advertised. Very easy check in and check out. Comfy bed. Nice shower. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We want to come back.

Best cabin and property (and host) EVER
I'd rather keep this place a buried treasure and keep it from being more popular than it already is. But...it is about my favorite spot anywhere. Room to roam, quiet, beautiful, secluded, welcoming touches everywhere, and comfort. Love it!

Visit Bastrop
The cottage was perfect!! Had everything we needed and then some. We travel with our dog, Buster, and they were very pet friendly. The back yard was fenced, so we didn’t have to worry about letting him outside. In the morning and evening we’d drink coffee on the back porch. So enjoyed the quiet. Loved walking the trails on the property. Very happy we stayed here and will most definitely come back!!
