Decent spot, very convenient for public transport, easy parking access. There is no staff on the property so you do need to phone them if there is an issue, not a huge deal but can be a little inconvenient. Agree with other reviews that the walls are not soundproofed well and you will hear city noise all the time. If you’re used to it it’s no biggie, if you’re not it can definitely be a disturbance.

The Hazlitt was a good stop for us. While it was a fair way out of Glasgow city itself, it was easy to get in and out of the city by public transport. The room itself was clean and well appointed and comfortable, despite not having air conditioning. The windows opened to let in a breeze, but there was a fair bit of street noise, especially as we stayed over a weekend. Check in was easy, and there were plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops nearby.

The windows are paper thin and you can hear absolutely everything from outside. We had booked here to stay the night before an early flight and between the 4 of us we probably got a combined 3 hours sleep. I think wish I had done more research before booking this. I was extremely close to leaving the property at about midnight and booking a local hotel it was that bad. I messaged the owner and he wasn’t much help at all and basically said “hopefully the noise stops soon”. There is a loose drain cover on the street outside which has regular vehicles going over it and making a very loud disturbing noise. This was a total waste of c£160 and frankly feel that I should be refunded.

The apartment was exceptionally clean and looked luxurious. We were only here one night, but it exceeded all of our needs. The management responded quickly to my question and even gave suggestions of local pubs in the area. The car park was a little difficult to find, but once I knew where it was, there we no issues.

We liked the spacious rooms with high ceilings and wood trim details. Proximity to the Abbey and various other monuments (most unusual Great War monument with soldiers around a knight on horse, appropriate for city's ancient history) was a big plus. Very clean and kitchen was well supplied. We will return. Their pet policy is also a big plus for us. Nearby Italian fish restaurant was truly five stars.

If you have a rental car, this is an excellent choice because of free off-street parking and a very nice apartment with comfortable beds and secure facility. The surrounding area is safe and interesting and you can drive to Glasgow city center in about 20 to 25 minutes or one day we drove to Shields Street park-and-ride and for 13 pounds we got all day parking and two all day subway passes which was a great deal.

Property was lovely overall and exactly as described. Instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made check-in straightforward. The location was great and really convenient for getting around Paisley. If I was staying in the area again, I’d definitely book here again. The bed was comfortable and made for a good night’s sleep. A couple of small issues: the milk sachets in the fridge were out of date, and the bathroom had a slight drainage smell. Nothing that ruined the stay, but noticeable.

Beta operations for eventual opening. Price was unbelievable. Elevator not operational so if you have mobility problems the meandering stair climb to the 1st floor could be a problem. Luxury to be sure. Doors slam easily and do not pry open - this could be coming down the pipeline because this will clearly be a luxury stay and will soon be out of my price range. Loved it. 6 stars out of 5
