„There is nothing to complain about. The host was so friendly, helpful and provided support for anything you can imagine. It was an experience beyond expectations. I can‘t imagine Lijiang without staying in this place.“

„Excellent Location – The hotel is conveniently located near the South Gate of Lijiang Ancient Town, just a 10-minute walk from the town center, offering both tranquility and easy access to attractions. Thoughtful Service– Upon prior arrangement, the staff will greet you upon arrival, assist with luggage, and welcome you with complimentary tea and fresh fruit—a lovely personal touch. Comfortable Stay– The bedding deserves special praise: the mattress provides ideal support, and the ...

Hier fühlt man ...

„Such a nice place to stay. The guest house is really beautiful. A very nice entryway with a yard full of nice plants and flowers. The hosts and staff are extremely welcoming and helpful, offering plenty of suggestions about the old town and surrounding villages. They helped us as well finding and organizing the ressources for travelling around to traditional villages and the Snow mountain park. A huge thank you to Roxana and Leo for the wonderful experience.“

„Very good “

„The staff were great and very friendly. For that price you can not go wrong. The location is great as well.“

„We had a pleasant stay. The only issue is that this facility is not easily accessible. When we arrived, we had to walk down a long stairway to get to the lobby. Besides that, everything is fantastic!“

„Great location and very helpful, welcoming host. Would happily stay here again.“

„Access to the hotel needs to be clarified at the lower entrance. And the hotel name - Cloudhaven Retreat (花开花落半山居) needs to be updated. The hotel is using another name right now. “

„I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and came with excellent amenities, including a nice bathtub and a Japanese bidet toilet. Housekeeping was prompt and consistent every day. A special thanks to Ms. Xiao Qing at the reception. She was very welcoming and went out of her way to help us plan day trips to the best spots in Lijiang. Her local tips made our visit much more enjoyable. The highlight was the breathtaking mountain view from the room — a perfect start to each ...

„The accomodation is located within Lijiang Ancient Town. Cars are not allowed to drive within the town and so customers will be required to contact the hotel staff to arrange manual trolley transport of the luggage to the hotel as it is about 5 minutes of walking from the nearest entrance. The room was overall clean with an unique interior design aligned with the ancient town. However, was quite disappointed with the check out experience, as my family had requested in advance for the staff to ...

„Very impressive. The hotel is located at the top of the Old town which gives a spectacular view of the mountains. The room is comfortable and the free minibar is also a plus. The staff were willing to help but couldn't communicate in English which is fine because WeChat can translate everything. The breakfast menu offers a variety of choices but the portions are quite small so we had to order many times and the wait was a bit long. Highly recommended.“

„Breakfast was traditional, but not on property had to walk to other property to eat, short walk, no safe in room to hold items, no iron, as stated 1 minutes walk to old town, property is in old town , had to call to find location, they came and walked us to property, that's why 4 stars , and local person said they have free shuttle to airport, he asked for me and had free shuttle ride the day I left ,“

„This hotel in my mind is average. Cleaness is average but definetly not as in the photos (the photos were possibly took when the rooms are new renovation). Fresh air? Don't expect fresh air, as many hotel guests or people nearby are smoking. Since this hotel is not entirely smoke-free, you'll have to settle for air tinged with the smell of cigarettes. For the location, it locates close to the north gate of Lijiang Ancient City and walking distance approximately 8-10 minutes. Quite a lot of ...
