Great location, terrible house
Great location, but the house was a major letdown and raised safety concerns. Kitchen cabinets were broken with sharp screws exposed, and drawers didn’t function properly. A handyman had to fix a cabinet door shortly after we arrived. The living room had only two small couches — not enough seating. Shower doors were broken, and there was no comforter on my bed because it had been left outside and was covered in ants. I had to purchase my own blanket.The pool area was unsafe — full of debris from untrimmed trees, and the skimmer didn’t work. The pool pump was dangerously wired with exposed, non-GFI electrical components. The grill barely worked, and there were wires hanging from the walls inside the home. Porch lights only worked by pulling chains, which we didn’t discover for days.The dock was littered with old bait, hooks, broken rods, and trash — not safe for guests, especially children. While management sent someone to address a few issues, the home needs serious repairs and updates before it should be rented. We were told nothing beyond immediate handyman fixes would be done. Also, essentials like toilet paper and paper towels are extremely limited, so bring your own. I recommend looking elsewhere until the property is made safe and properly maintained by the homeowner.
