Great house for a family gathering!

Our family of 16 stayed at The Sands for a week and had a wonderful time there! The pool was everyone's favorite part of the property; it is large and just perfect for the kids we had with us, ages 3-17. Plenty of comfortable seating and some pool toys were provided. We didn't use the game room much (although it was nice to have that option) and we didn't find any in-tact board games (pieces were missing) or card games, so I would suggest bringing your own. The house was spacious, clean and easily accommodated our group. We found the kitchen to be sufficient, but not well-stocked with things like spices, S & P, no-stick spray, storage containers/zip lock bags, dish towels/cloths...you might want to bring those things. You also might want to bring plastic flatware (there were not enough forks and spoons for our group). We appreciated the abundance of pool towels provided - and even some sand toys for the beach, which is a very short walk down the street...SO convenient! Bring some TP, since there is one roll per bathroom provided, and bring some paper towels, plastic wrap and tin foil. I would also suggest bringing your own beach chairs (non were included). The bikes that were provided were great to have; we used them every day! We felt extremely safe in this neighborhood and even met some of the full-time neighbors who were all extremely friendly! The fireworks on the beach on the 4th of July were great - no need to go anywhere else that night if that's when you're there!

Quiet and Relaxing

Great home. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Short walk to the beach. Short drive to great restaurants and shopping. Property management was quick to respond and took care of our needs.

Wonderful family beach vacation!

We enjoyed our stay at The Sands and would highly recommend this lovely beach home to other families! Ideal location with a beach entrance at the end of the street, within biking/ walking distance to shops and restaurants in Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach, and in a beautiful neighborhood. Backyard pool, cornhole and the game room kept our teenagers entertained, and the house was extremely clean and well-appointed with plenty of space. We loved everything about it and would definitely return! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful Property to Enjoy Vacation!

We greatly enjoyed our recent stay at The Sands! We had a large group and the house was very comfortable and spacious to accommodate everyone. The pool and outside area was large enough for the 8 children (and adults) to play and enjoy our time together. The house was clean and ready when we arrived. The staff from the rental company was very friendly and easy to get a hold of. Their communication was greatly appreciated! We would definitely book this house again!

Excellent Location and House

This house was excellent. Proximity to beach was fantastic, house slept multiple families. Backyard pool was an added bonus. Kids loved game room. We played baseball in Panama City every day so being able to bypass 30 A traffic using Watersound street to get to this house was awesome. Location is perfect!!!

30th bday celebration

The house was awesome and served our needs well. We met our daugjter and friends for her 30th birthday celebration. The house accommodated a large group of us comfortably. We loved the carriage house for my husband and I to stay in. The pool was definitely an added bonus. The beach was a very short walk. The game room was a lot of fun as well. The Inly recommendation I would have is to put either blinds or curtains in the game room to allow the pull out sofa to be used if needed. Would recommend this property with no hesitation

Spring Break 2021

We spent our 2021 Spring Break at this property. Three different families, it worked perfect. Great property. Just a few notes. Kitchen is not stocked appropriately for a home that sleeps 18 (and we only had 8!). The grill is terrible, does not cook well and extremely dirty. The bar stools are "sit at your own risk" falling apart at kitchen counter. As mentioned, a few minor things above, but overall a great property. Very clean. The property manager went above and beyond with communication - excellent.

Perfect House

Nice house, great pool and perfect location. Less then a half block from the beach and right off of 30A. Kids loved the game room and house was very nice. We had a crap weather week so the 90 degree pool was excellent. Dune management was incredible, super attentive and go above and beyond. We had a few minor issues and they were handled immediately. You are in good hands. A couple of FYI’s for future renters. 1. The cupboard and fridge are completely bare. Everything is removed. No spices, condiments, foil, detergent, etc. we donated some of these to the house but my guess is that all is removed. 2. Foosball table is broken. Some of the guys are broken and some of the turning mechanisms too. 3. We were a family of six and besides the game room, the setup to lounge is difficult. One small couch in the main living room with a couple of chairs vs a large oversized couch for this size house. Overall, we were very pleased.

Great beach house

We had a great time! House was clean and had all the room and amenities we could have needed. Easy walk to the beach, and the pool was great! If there was one complaint it would be the speed of the internet. It was quite slow during our stay.

The Sands

This was our second stay at the Sands. It is the perfect setting for our large family. The white powdery beach is a short walk away and the heated pool was a favorite with the grandchildren. Fond Christmas memories were made at this awesome property!

First Seacrest visit

Three families shared this property for our visit and it was great! The space was perfect for our group especially having the pool house for the kids. The location allowed us to easily get to the beach and visit Seacrest, Seaside and Rosemary Beach areas easily. Definitely would recommend this property!

Great Vacation Home

Overall stay was excellent! House was large enough to accommodate my family and amenities were perfect to keep everyone busy. The pool was a big hit as was the game room. The availability of the bikes was great for that early morning bike run. Beach access was down the street and easy to get to. I would highly recommend this home to anyone with a big family.

Super easy check in process. The property was incredible; even better than it looked in the pictures. Five bikes provided to ride on a lengthy bike trail between towns. Less than 1/10th of a mile easy bike ride to bike racks on public boardwalk to beach. The pool was incredible; again even better than it looked in pictures. Kids used the game room frequently. Property was immaculate. Great location on a great no outlet street that was full of other vacation homes. Perfect location situated between an easy 2.2 bike ride to Rosemary or easy one mile bike ride to Prominence on 30A.

We loved The Sands for our family beach week!

Our family enjoyed our annual beach week at The Sands. The short walk to the beach worked well even for the smallest in our party. The large pool was a hit along with the game room. We highly recommend both the property and the staff at Dune Vacation Rentals. Thank you!

Beautiful property! Loved having the game room & pool!

This property was ideal for our family beach trip! Very short walk to the beach which made everyone happy! They even provided a wagon to haul your stuff! The home was decorated beautifully and very spacious! Having the carraige house helped give everyone their own space. We loved having the pool to relax in after a day at the beach. There is a shower off the driveway to rinse off all the sand before enjoying the pool. Then there was the game room in which the adults as well as the kids had a blast with! This was our first time renting a house and we couldn't be happier! We did everything online. From the moment we paid it was a breeze! They offer an app for your phone where you get check-in/out info, plus local places to eat, shop, and play. They were easy to contact when we had any questions and check-out was just as easy. They give detailed instructions on what to do when you leave. We would recommend this to everyone!! Very pleased! We made great memories in a beautiful home close to a beautiful beach!!!!
