Winter blues getaway

I decided to snowbird for a month and enjoyed every minute. My family joined me over Christmas and the New Year, it was exactly what we needed. The property was perfect for our needs. Would definitely book again.

We love Treasure Island Resort but
I would stay at another condo due to the bed

Upon arrival, the resort's beauty was evident. However, our condo's master bedroom presented a less favorable impression, primarily due to the carpet's condition. Despite the pet-friendly designation for animals under 20 pounds, the stains suggested otherwise, necessitating the use of flip flops. The carpet's state was unacceptable. Using the vacuum cleaner proved challenging due to its fixed settings. Real Joy's assessment found no issues with the device. Have you ever encountered difficulties vacuuming carpet without adjustable height settings? Moreover, my daughter brought my Roomba during her visit, revealing a carpet that appeared neglected for years. Before our departure for Treasure Island Resort, I had been undergoing chiropractic treatment and was experiencing significant relief. However, following a night's sleep, I woke up the next morning with intense back pain. Upon investigation, I found a plywood layer situated between the mattress and the box springs, causing the mattress to squeak with every movement. Unfortunately, my efforts to contact Real Joy were unsuccessful in addressing the issue. As a temporary solution, I used my 2-inch exercise mat, placing it beneath the eggshell foam and fitted sheet. It is noteworthy that individuals under 5'3 my sure you have a step ladder. I used the other exercise mat. My suggestion is to lower the bed, remove the dirty carpet, and replace the vacuum cleaner, which would be a welcome improvement for a month-long stay.

Dog friendly, Beautiful Views, Luxury Resort Atmosphere with a Great Night’s Sleep!

My family and I had the best time in this condo! The owners were very kind, wishing us a great stay and being readily available to us! My favorite part of the condo (other than the stunning view, super clean pool, and dog friendly-ness) was how incredibly close the resort is to the shoreline! And I have to brag on the Master Suite’s mattress, I got the best sleep every night of our trip, and it put my own bed at home to shame! Can’t wait to stay again!

Wonderful Accommodations

The room was nice as advertised. The view was gorgous!! Love having the sliding glass door in the bedroom overlooking the Gulf! If I had any suggestions, I would recommend to touch up all the doors and baseboards. They are worn from cleaning and everyday use. Easy fix to give it a fresh clean look! Enjoyed the new couch while relaxing and watching television! I would suggest bringing a ROKU or Firestick for more channel options since free internet is provided! Bed was pretty comfy, a bit softer than what I'm used to, but I must say, I do enjoy a big king size bed! Overall great place, would definitely stay again, and would recommend to others!! Thanks for great vacation accommodations!

Condo was nice.It was clean on the surface, but needs a deep cleaning. Three is black mold in the master shower.The furniture in the living room was new, but very uncomfortable.I am short so I had trouble getting into the master bed.Thank God there was a step stool in the laundry room..balcony doors didn’t lock .All in all it still wasn’t a bad stay.But wouldn’t stay again.

Not really Pet Friendly

I paid for my pet, upon arriving and checking I was informed I would have to pay an additional pet fee to their HOA. While booking the Vrbo, I wasn’t given an option to remove the pet fee once I included I would bring a pet. It was frustrating. I called Real Joy spoke with Jeremy who started a refund process stating it was charged to me in error. I am still awaiting my refund. Also, with this being my first trip to Panama City Beach I wasn’t aware dogs were only allowed on the “Dog Beach” 20 minutes from the hotel I stayed In, again disappointed and frustrated at this point. I will not recommend a Pet Owner to stay at the resort/hotel. Better communication is recommended

Beach closed

This condo has a fantastic view of the ocean. The beds are comfortable. The location is remote and you have to drive to anything worth doing. The beach should have been steps away from my door but the beach was closed for 3 of my 5 day trip due to city construction so we had to walk to the public beach area which wasn’t far but wasn’t what I paid for. The management company charged me a pet deposit and the resort itself said that was wrong and made me pay it to them a second time. Still waiting to hear if I will get a refund. Management company didn’t send me the information I needed to check in I had to call and they said I hadn’t signed something that they never sent me in the first place. Honestly it was an expensive nightmare

Nice stay!

We stayed for over a month. I loved having the heated outdoor pool (between 80 and 85 degrees) for swims at night, gorgeous views from the large balcony off the living room and master bedroom, and being able to receive packages at the front desk when I needed to order some things online. The location was great! The master bed and couch in the living room were not very comfortable, and the carpet in both bedrooms seemed old, but we really appreciated the cleaning crew as the spaces were all spotless when we arrived. There was also a cute little gift bag left for us, which I appreciated! Communication was also very good. Treasure Island is definitely a resort we would visit again for the bonuses that it provides its guests!

Best location!

This property is on the East end of the 25+mile Panama City beach. It’s beautifully set where you can see the curve of the sand towards the piers at Pier park. Absolutely gorgeous sunsets and walkable to a few bars/restaurants. We’ve found our snowbird home! The unit itself was amazing and quite roomy!

Recent stay

The doors to the balcony didn’t lock. We had no WiFi. The dryer was broken. Reached out to hotel property and with the realtors and still have yet to hear anything back and it has been almost a month since the stay.

Great Spot
