EVERYTHING was perfect! We've been to PCB several times but this was the first time we stayed at "this end" of the beach - and LOVED it. The owners/managers are great to work with and the unit was impeccably clean. We also enjoyed the included beach service! We'll definitely be back!

Changes at Tropic Winds

Unit Feedback:The unit was clean, and the online photos matched the in-person appearance. However, renters who prefer firm furniture should know that the couch and all three mattresses are very soft. The bath towels are thin and should be replaced with new ones.Community Feedback:Although Tropic Winds advertises a non-smoking environment, we frequently smelled marijuana from our balcony. The lessor first advised we take a photo of the smoker and report it to the HOA, but expecting us to lean out over a 14th-floor balcony to identify the source is just not safe. Sadly, the near-constant smoke ruined one of our favorite parts of staying at the beach: simply sitting on the balcony to enjoy the view and fresh air.Know that wristbands are strictly enforced—even when walking straight from your car to the elevator. They are uncomfortable and unattractive, but staff insist on checking them.Overall:Judging by the smell of pot and the wristband enforcement, I have to conclude Tropic Winds' HOA is contending with a minority of condo owners or property managers who have cheapened the experience, renting to anyone without any reasonable oversight. I feel for the owners of our unit, as I'm sure this isn't what they signed up for.

Perfect for everyone

I visited with my wife and stepdaughter, and this place was perfect for everyone! Beach access and free chairs were super quick and easy to access. The balcony is spacious and well-furnished, the perfect spot for us to enjoy morning coffee and take in the fantastic views. The layout was great for family time and cozy movie watching on the comfy couch during rainy days, and the two bedrooms each with tvs and attached bathrooms allowed privacy and independence (great for letting the 13 year old be a 13 year old). The property owner was also quick and responsive when we needed to contact them. Highly recommend and would absolutely return to this property again myself!

Gorgeous View and Amazing Stay!

We loved everything about our stay at this condo! To start off, the view from the condo is beautiful and just as the pictures show. The place was one of the cleanest we have stayed in and had everything we needed. Scott was so easy to communicate with and took care of all our needs quickly and efficiently. The location is great and having the beach chair service included is a huge plus. We will definitely be staying here again and would highly recommend it!! You won't be disappointed!

Great Experience

We stayed in 1402 and loved everything about it. The pictures were exactly what we expected. Our parking was very convenient and just a few steps to the walkway of the beach. When we went to the beach each day, we would put our rafts and boogie board in the back of our Yukon. Therefore, we didn’t have to carry them up to the condo. The parking is tight but definitely doable. I have a Yukon XL and it wasn’t hard to back into the parking spot. We loved being able to eat on the patio each day while enjoying the beach views. Anytime I had a question, I received an answer in a timely manner. I’d definitely come back and recommend this condo!

Perfect as always

This is our second time renting this condo and we're already planning when to go back after just leaving yesterday. This building is smaller and quiet. The beach wasn't crowded. Having complimentary beach chairs is great. The condo itself is super clean and nicely furnished. We have zero complaints!

Apartment was clean and comfortable. The complex is well maintained and clean. The beach and water were gorgeous. Scott was responsive and accommodating. The building had many families with children on Easter break. People were very friendly.

Beautiful condo

The condo was beautiful and clean. It was just as described in the listing. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook several large meals. The couch and the beds were the most comfortable I’ve found at any place we’ve stayed. We had a great vacation and loved staying here. We plan to return again next year if it’s available!

Awesome, Spacious, Super Clean!

Awesome, spacious, and super clean condo. Sofa and beds were comfy. Location was perfect. Parking was extremely tight and additional parking is limited, but this would not keep us from booking 1402 again! Additional family members also booked at Tropic Winds but their unit was no where near as nice.

Great condo; parking can be an issue

We enjoyed this condo. Great location, nicely furnished, and nice quality kitchen and bath items. Responsive owner/manager. However, parking was a challenge. The dedicated parking spot for this unit is at end of row next to a wall. When other spaces are filled, it was very hard to get our truck into the spot; a smaller car works fine. There is some open parking in deck across the street but the open spots are limited and fill quickly. My only other "con" would be the mattresses are very soft, much moreso than to our liking.

Can't wait to go back!!

My husband and I stay in a different PCB condo every year but after 5 minutes in this condo my husband said this will now be our "go to" vacation spot! The condo is absolutely wonderful. It was so clean and beautifully furnished. The building is smaller than most which we like. Short waits for an elevator and the beach wasn't crowded at all. Quick and easy communication with the owner. We loved having an indoor, assigned parking space, however, like all parking garages the spaces are tight so it was challenging getting our large truck parked. We'll come in my car next time because that will definitely not stop us from booking again!

Home away from home

We were in PC Beach for the Seabreeze jazz festival and a little R&R. The owners provide everything you need. The condo was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need if you enjoy preparing your meals rather than eating out. Wonderful stay!

Nice quiet beach

Condo was clean and beds were comfy. Building and beach are beautiful. Beach was quieter than others around us due to the smaller size of the building and townhouses on either side. Two young men that run the chair rentals were so nice and friendly. Nice that two chairs are included in rental. Additional chairs were an extra $50 a day for two. Pricey but nice to have! Condo had basic necessity for cooking but definitely lacked what most condos I've stayed in have had. Car was damaged by condo chairs not being secured properly during a night storm so that was frustrating and costly! Overall would recommend this condo to others.

Beautiful condo

The condo was clean and lovely with a perfect view of the ocean and everything we needed. Scott was great to work with, and when we had one issue upon arrival with the internet, he was quick to get someone to us to fix it. The chairs and umbrella included was a wonderful addition. It was an easy drive to the Rosemary beach area for shopping and restaurants. Definitely recommend!

Nicely decorated and very clean

Condo is as pictures show. It is very clean. No sand on any tile and carpet in bedrooms was clean. Kitchen was well equipped with plenty of dishes and silverware. Also had nice supply of high quality towels. The building was well maintained and everyone we came across was nice. Communication from owner was super. Had a minor problem at check in that was taking care of with one phone call. My only wish was that the beds were firmer. They seem to be high quality but to soft for our personal preference. Living room and kitchen table area are nice. Large flat screen TVs and high speed wireless. Bottom line, yes we would stay here again.
