Châteaux à Pancole

« It is a very beautiful castle with lovely scenic views. We were there in June. The rooms were very spacious and nice. It is very accessible to other towns in Tuscany. The staff was very helpful throughout our stay. The only problem we had was the mosquitoes. We had our windows shut throughout the nights although a few managed to come through..otherwise everything else was great! »

« Cabbiavoli was the gathering place for our two week celebration with family and friends for my husband’s retirement. We were within an hour of every place we wanted to visit (Florence, Siena, Piza, Volterra) and even got to do the Cinque Terre hike, albeit a long day but so worth the two hour drive time! The train being so close made all excursions possible. Wineries are very close and within driving distance. Cabbiavoli itself is loaded with history and its grounds and views are breathtaking....

« Although the castle looks nice from the outside, our apartment was dark and dirty. There was mould in the bathrooms, some lights did not work and everything looked as if it hadn' been cleaned for a while. We felt very uncomfortable in our apartment and cannot recommend it. »

« Le cadre est enchanteur, le personnel très gentil. La situation géographique est idéal car situé en pleine campagne mais au coeur du triangle Florence, Pise, Sienne. La piscine permet de bien se détendre et se rafraîchir après une journée de balades. Le gite était très bien avec juste un petit bémol sur l'équipement car nous étions 8 et il y a tout juste assez de vaisselle. « 10 logements à l' extérieur du parc du château dont le 36 que nous occupions. À droite : une petite route fréquentée par tracteurs, 2 roues, camion poubelle et qques voitures dès 6h du matin et toute la journée. Les 2 fenêtres de chambre en simple vitrage donnent directement sur cette route !!! En face : le parking À gauche : logement du personnel d' entretien donnant directement sur la terrasse, passage permanent. « Surrounding is nice but coming to the apartment - disappointment. Spacious place but poorly maintained, grounds as well as bathrooms were not clean. Plenty of dead moskitos covered the walls additionally. Mold in the bathrooms and strange stains. There were doors instead of windows and no fly screens at all. So we could not leave anything open as there were thousands of Moskitos. Choice between sleeping in more than 30 degrees or open doors with countless bites and anything else in the...
