« Great location for visiting local sites. L especially Caprock Canyon. Cabin is terrific. Clean and everything as described. Parking right near door, very quiet. Just great! »

« Clean room, amply supplied, nice and quiet, safe. Host responded quickly when we got lost due to GPS confusion. If I may make a constructive suggestion, please add knobs or pulls to the cabinet draws and cabinets. I have arthritic hands and had to use a plastic knife to open them. May not apply to everyone but it sure would help old people like me. Thank you for your excellent hosting. »

« Everything was just what we needed. Clean bed, cold A/C. Just good and basic. Pillows could be better. Fan dud not work. But it took care of us. »

« Looking out the back of our cabin, it was not hard to imagine how the American prairie looked 150 years ago, but with all the modern comforts. This is truly one of the quietest places I have ever been in the entire world. The next time we drive to Colorado, we will make sure our plans include a stop here again. Fantastic cabin and host! »

« It was very clean and spacious place. We were pulling a trailer with a golf cart and there was plenty of room to park and it felt safe and we did not have to worry about somebody stealing it, unlike if we stayed in a hotel in a larger town. Owner Karen responded very quickly! And we loved the outdoor barn cats. Great stop on our journey to Red River, NM. »

« It's a very cute property. Unfortunately we had some problems during our stay. I couldn't locate a code to access the property - Amber responded quickly with a code to get us in. Not sure if I got it already and misplaced it but it was no big deal since she responded almost immediately. Once we gained entry we quickly became aware that the smoke alarm had an issue as the one in the bedroom with the bunk beds chirped every few minutes. There was also an unpleasant odor in the house, I messaged...

« What a wonderful place to spend the weekend with our grandson. He caught his first fish in the stocked pond which made him so happy! The cabin is clean and welcoming and the bathroom is stocked with everything a woman needs to relax after a long hot day in the canyon! The fresh eggs, sausage, muffins and mimosas were such a wonderful surprise and so thoughtful of the owner. We will be back! »
