« The room was very clean, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, the service was good, and the breakfast tasted quite good as well. However, there was one issue that left me somewhat disappointed. After having breakfast one morning, I developed diarrhea. « Best hotel in China we have stayed! The room is spacious, well designed, staff really friendly. One of the staff picked us up on the day from the nearby attraction while it was raining and gave us a hot water bag to keep us warm. Breakfast and dinner are delicious, and they offer free laundry service too, recommended places to visit nearby for the following day. « Management (?owner/operater) was rude and despite familiarity with 'translator' app a terrible communicator. Saving a 1* teview was the laundry and available (out of room) fridge. Perhaps it was a bad weekend...but smoking while talking at the front desk and 'cold-shoulder' vibes were annoying even considering cross-cultural differences! C'est la vie...but 'Choose your own Adventure' with this one!" »
