My husband surprised me with this place for my birthday. We honeymooned in Park City, so as we were driving out I was super excited to realize where we were headed (More expensive than planned, but my husband was trying to splurge on me). Upon arriving in the apartment it took us a good portion of time to realize that the parking pass was actually located up in the room (not in the foyer per directions). Not too bad. But then when we got in the room the windows, balcony doors and blinds/shades were all open allowing the hot hot afternoon sun in. There was a very small, old ac unit lazily stuck out the open window (plugged in, off, vent not attached to anything just hung out the window). It was REALLY HOT. After closing all doors and draperies, and stuffing pillows next to the ac unit vent we finally got the ac unit on, and ever so slowly the heat of the front room went down, but never below 80 degrees, and this was only in the front room not the bedroom where we were to sleep, which remained much hotter. We tried to make the best of it. My husband had planned to cast a movie to the screen and watch together. My phone has no data plan so we NEEDED the wifi to work. Try all the troubleshooting as we might, but it did not. We got ahold of the owner (my husband has an EXTREMELY LIMITED data plan) and they weren't very helpful. They stopped answering our queries and no help was received. So....no entertainment. And...try as we might, very very little sleep. Why did we come here again?? I mean, it was moderately cute, 2 baths, cute kitchen space in spite of the old walls and ceiling. But it failed to serve the main purpose why we came! We received a call from the owners the following day...AFTER our early 10 am checkout, letting us know that there was a place in the bedroom closet (???) to hook up the small ac unit so the bedroom could be cooler. So I appreciate that they did in fact respond...they seemed to want to help (too little too late) but man...our stay was hugely, unexpectedly, expensively miserable. I'm sure my lack of sleep painted a little more negatively than should have, but I should note that there is a pane door that leads straight to the parking lot (so good view in) with no drapes/blinds...so no privacy in the front portion of the room, and there is SOMETHING rented/going next door that revs up quite loudly...so the coolest time of the morning, around 5/6, when we finally started to drift off kept jerking us awake.
