« Great boutique hotel! I have stayed here a few times and I will continue to come back. The staff is amazing! Rooms are beautiful! Food is BEST in town!! Honestly the finest place to stay in Elkins!! They get a nice bar crowd and the people I have meet are always nice and friendly!! Feels like home away from home! »

« Extremely welcoming host, and we even worked out staying an additional night because we were having such a great time. Iâve stayed at Alpine Lake at several different properties, and this was the first one that provided keys to be able to use the indoor pool. It was the perfect space for our family of 3 and 2 dogs. »

« Weâve been coming to Davis for a long time but this was our first time staying in Black Bear. The Bear Lair was perfect for our stay. Clean, well decorated, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, and plenty of firewood. The central location was great as we bounced between Dolly Sods, Timberline, White Grass and downtown Davis. Abby was super responsive and accommodating. We definitely plan to return. »
