Sadly it was a drizzly, dreary weekend but we had one nice day to go down to the beach and the kids enjoyed playing in the water. « My family had a wonderful stay at Ivy Cove. We were in town for our niece’s wedding and it was close enough to participate in all family activities but far enough away to be a peaceful haven to relax. The house is beautiful. « The house was nice and the property is spacious. Great views from the dining room table. A little steep heading down to the dock but not terrible. Very private setting, but also only 5 mins away from pretty much anything you could need. Some nice restaurants just across the bridge in Solomons Island. « My sister and I both agree that our room was very clean. My sister was not pleased about the sheets being tucked in all around the bed, but she made do. My bed was comfortable but the pillows are too soft (I'm used to contour memory foam). We had room service and it was excellent. Food was good. My sister enjoyed her shower.
