« The Empress is in/near a very nice/cool/fun section of Main St. Good food. Solid galleries. At least two very interesting antique shops. Wonderful ice cream shop. The Community Bakery is very good for pastries, coffee, breakfast or lunch. At the Empress James is a perfect host and took care of everything we needed. We would stay again if our travels take us back to Little Rock. »

« Overall, a great stay. Staff was friendly, and it seemed safe. The wall thermostat was not controlling the room temperature, we learned. Need to use the control on the wall unit. Room odor was a bit off at first. Comfy bed. Good array of TV channels. »

« Stacie is a great hostess! The unit was quite clean when we arrived and stocked with a number of small features that most don’t think to include, but are super nice to have (like bug spray to use in the beautiful backyard), and super comfortable beds and living room lounge furniture. Communication was excellent and super helpful for the visit. Stacie also offered us breakfast every day, which was quite wonderful. We took her up on it and the frittata was tasty. « The whole key process was simple. The room was great. The stairs were really steep. Railing is really low so nothing to hold on to as you walk down the stairs. Other than that, it was a nice stay. »

« I loved staying at this historic, old world hotel for a week.The rooms are elegant, clean and spacious. I was in town doing wedding planning with my daughter and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly & accommodating. I felt so special. My husband could not be there, so I was traveling alone, yet always felt safe and comfortable. Their drivers were top-notch gentlemen who took me anywhere I needed and promptly picked me up.
